we are sure: you should love this tune... the interpretation by alex connors & hardy heller move a little bit more forward, so the drumming is a little bit more dance floor orientated, the bassline as well is exchanged and a little bit more demanding but still those both jerks kept all these fine incredients, this well selected sounds of the original, so it seems to be pretty obvious that also their interpretation will catch your attention...

some months ago we received an email by well known house imprint "houph records". they asked us, as they've heared and bought quiet a lot  productions done by us in the past, if we were interested to do a remix for them... and of course... we are always interested in collaborating... and holy jesus... when we received the track we should remix... it really really gave us goosebumps... ROBERT OWENS, Chicago House legend and inventor of sounds... unbelievable... one of the first house records ever we bought was FINGERS INC... which is Larry Heard, Ron Wilson and ROBERT OWENS... so really really a big honor, a big thing for us... sitting in the studio we were thinking a testing in which direction this could / should go... and finally we end up in a quiet old school, a quiet nostalgic 90ies inspired, somehow also an acid / 303 influenced production with some uplifting chords, harmonies, synths line... and of course with this typical Voice of Chicago House Legend "ROBERT OWENS... we tested the mix within the last weeks quiet a lot...wether at Sage Beach (Berlin), World Club Dome Pool Sessions (Frankfurt)or at our own events in our area... the remix always went down really well... so ...

In october 2020 "ohral recordings" got re-relaunched . Back then started with a compilation, a showreel of the closest "ohral residents" called "A Rock, A River, A Tree". From the beginning "ohral" experienced not expected success, especially not to this extent. Artist friends like Mihai Popoviciu, Gorge, Dilby, Marc DePulse, Robert Babicz, Benny Grauer - just to name a few - contributed their beautiful souls to the imprint, to our mothership by doing remixes or exclusive productions. A lot of our releases earned highly ranked chart positions as well as plays by some of the worlds finest artists. Not less than 4 tracks are in the Beatport Deep House Best Sellers Charts of 2021. As said, not expected to this extend, but gladly accepted. Thanks for your trust and support !!!

Four new remixes with magical sounds of the original number ´Peter Pan´ from 1994 produced by the techno project ´Cybordelics´ from Stuttgart (founded in 1993). 
Peter Pan could fly and never wanted to grow up - the original track is just as light and timeless and takes us to his sunny island Neverland. 
The first three remixes are clearly different from the original track and daring interpretations. The ´Sikora's Tinker Bells Spheres Remix´ is almost a little bit spiritual and would do well in a cathedral or New Age meditation. 
The remixes by Marie Wilhelmine Anders and Pyrococcus unfold with
epic build-up and chilled groove.
Of all remixes ´Alex Connors and Hardy Heller Tinkerbell Mix´ is closest to the original, but clearly more danceable, definitely club-suitable and does not only enchant techno fairies.

The story behind the track is... that SWANYA is the wife of LARSA... who is already for quiet q while an OHRAL ARTIST. 

ALEX CONNORS & HARDY HELLER played last autumn at MINISTRY OF SOUND, London and Lars with his wifeSwanya was also in town, doing a euzroipean vacation. so they decided to join the fun together with another label mate of OHRAL: STEVE KELLEY.

Beside of having fun they discussed several things, where speaking about a lot of things... like doing collaborations, like intensifying the relation ship. At the time ALEX & HARDY had a track in which GORGE, head of 8 BIT RECORDS, head of KATCHULI MUSIC was interested in.

So Alex & Hardy had the idea top ask the guys from LA if they would be up to add some lyrics, some vocals, as the track was kind of asking for it...  

A few weeks later the track was ready to go and directly licensed by the infamous GORGE for his KATCHULI IMPRINT...

Once upon a time Alex & I were sitting in the studio. We were working on several own productions already for quiet a while and just thought: "ok... our ears are getting kind of blurred" as it  happens ,more or less on a regular base when you are  listening to your developing tracks on and on during the production process.  

So we decided to start to do something different. And yeah... the idea was to get something done with the fabulous sounds of Kraftwerk. Just as they are great and of course they are our roots without any doubt. Also absolutely useful especially for an opening tracks.

So we did this "Mash Up" of Kraftwerk & "Markus Homm". we used this mix the last year quiet often at the beginning of our sets  The result was always the same. already within the first "bleeps" we got the attention...

Hardy Heller & Alex Connors - Robot City (Mash Up)

we've been asked quiet often the last weeks / months if we could release some more live sets. so here you go: herewith you'll find  the closing set of our "Ohral Open Air". We - "Ohral" - organize this event once a year beside the "Hambach Castle", which is the place where german democracy was born. Beside that "Hambach" is our hometown / homebase as well. So the event was sold out two weeks in advance again and although we had problems with rain during the day our "ohral possee" / the crowd gathered and celebrated like crazy.  We are deeply thankful for that !

The pic was by the way taken at the event during our set as well.

As said... it was the closing set of this daytime event and we played our set after "Maxie König & SundB" who really worked and entertained the crowd with energetic beats, mixing and live percussions. So we decided to cool down the event first. Also we played several unreleased own productions from our "ohral label", which will be hopefully released someday soon on "ohral recordings". But instead of speaking about music... maybe its better just to listen...

Except the beginning (as we had a technical problem with the CDJ) as well as at the end of the mix (as a going crazy fan fall in our equipment) you listen to a live recording which is live mixed without sync bottuns or anything like that.

The story behind this sampler is: Parts of the Ohral Artist(Ohral is also a quiet well known eventseries in the south west of Germany, parts of the Ohral Family is now bringing the well-known event series from "On Air" -  to "In The Air" - just that you get ist right: "Ohral On Air" is the name of a weekly radio show that we also do. The radio show is broadcasted every wednesday evening 8PM (CET) on Evosonic Radio (www.evosonic.de) and brings you exciting dj mixes from the likes of "Mihai Popoviciu, Marc DePulse, Gorge, our residents and of course we announce the latest news out of the ohral universe.

ASAMA is a project of ALEX CONNORS, SABRINA & MARKUS. More or less by accident, this studio project was developed. The story goes as follows: ALEX is part of the OHRAL FAMILY for ages. SABRINA & MARKUS are regular guests at ohral events, which are known for transporting a very special family vibe - so also those three got friends. Someday they hung around in Alex´ flat and he invited them to join him into his sauna. And no, it's not getting dirty here, as Alex build his "studio" in an old sauna. On the other side, as you will hear (and although the sauna is no longer in operation), the following studio sessions really went hot.

The original track of ASAMA kicks of this EP and turns out to be a heart-pounding techno stomper. At least when the bass line jumps in you know that you are dealing with a serious peak time track made to make you sweat. Out of these original Alex and Hardy Heller did a more melo-oriantated version, while the 2nd mix goes down the deep house road. Enjoy !
