Behind the scenes at "Ohral" Maxie König, Alex Connors & Hardy Heller are without any doubt kind of the driving forces. All three have released within the last 1,5 years several tracks on "Ohral" as well as on other imprints. Their tracks got support from international highly respected artists like "John Digweed", "Steve Bug", "Gorge" and so on; beside of continuously entering specific genre- and dj-charts.

As the name of the EP more or less announces. The 3 tracks are quiet diverse. The opening track "Maxie König - Love Is A Battlefield" is a promising deep electronica masterpiece, a musical journey containing break beats and a dark howling bass, a track to get lost, a track you should have a brief listen to. "Mi Tu" by "Alex Connors & Hardy Heller" is in contrast to that a "4 to the floor" track. An always forward pushing percussion section is garnished here with some fluffy elements like flying around vocals, glittering synth lines. The story behind the track is... that SWANYA is the wife of LARSA... who is already for quiet q while an OHRAL ARTIST. 

ALEX CONNORS & HARDY HELLER played last autumn at MINISTRY OF SOUND, London and Lars with his wifeSwanya was also in town, doing a euzroipean vacation. so they decided to join the fun together with another label mate of OHRAL: STEVE KELLEY.

Beside of having fun they discussed several things, where speaking about a lot of things... like doing collaborations, like intensifying the relation ship. At the time ALEX & HARDY had a track in which GORGE, head of 8 BIT RECORDS, head of KATCHULI MUSIC was interested in.

So Alex & Hardy had the idea top ask the guys from LA if they would be up to add some lyrics, some vocals, as the track was kind of asking for it...  

A few weeks later the track was ready to go and directly licensed by the infamous GORGE for his KATCHULI IMPRINT...

the track "Colourblind" by "Alex Connors & Hardy Heller" was produced already some time ago. Tested and played for around 2 years it is now time to release this little beauty.

"Colourblind" will be released as part of the compilation "Various Artists - Ohral Is In The Air" soon on "Evosonic Records".

The story behind this sampler is: Parts of the Ohral Artist(Ohral is also a quiet well known eventseries in the south west of Germany, parts of the Ohral Family is now bringing the well-known event series from "On Air" -  to "In The Air" - just that you get ist right: "Ohral On Air" is the name of a weekly radio show that we also do. The radio show is broadcasted every wednesday evening 8PM (CET) on Evosonic Radio (www.evosonic.de) and brings you exciting dj mixes from the likes of "Mihai Popoviciu, Marc DePulse, Gorge, our residents and of course we announce the latest news out of the ohral universe.

But from now on we do not only broadcast a radio show on "Evosonic", but also release this "Mini-Album" on their label named - strange enough - "Evosonic Records". 

After we released on our own "ohral imprint", as well as on for example Plastic City, Harthouse, Poker Flat  and BluFin Records in the last 12 months, we are now delivering this mini album called "Ohral Is In The Air". 

Beside "Colour Blind" by Alex Connors & Hardy Heller  you'll find also other very cool artists and music... twice deep house, once house and twice techno, one from the hypnotic drawer and one for the peaktime. 

Like at our events: Ohral is never just one style. Not at our quiet legendary parties, never on our own record label and also not in our "Ohral On Air Radio Show".
