Coming in fresh for the summer season with their third outing on Hive Audio is the Swiss duo named Sous Sol with a follow up to their massive „Taonga EP“. Bringing forth two new original tracks and a remix by Romanian electronic music staple Mihai Popoviciu, their new release the „Dizzy Rhythm EP“, fully lives up the pairings high quality standards and is soon to be heard on a dancefloor near you.

Opening with the title track „Dizzy Rhythm“ Sous Sol are employing a deep, tribalistic vibe for a start,  fusing intricate, complex percussion lines with a seductive TechHouse groove and masterly crafted synth arrangements bringing forth a well balanced amount of mystique and drive ideal for intimate late settings as well as epic moments throughout large scale sunrise sessions.

On a remix tip for „Dizzy Rhythm“ is no-one less than Mihai Popoviciu. The Romanian Techno legend who's left a trail of releases on high quality labels like International Deejay Gigolo, Poker Flat Recordings, Bedrock Records and many more over the years turns towards a more dancefloor focused  approach in his rework, strips things down a little, adds quite a distinct, stoic hi-hat whilst staying true to a certain, dreamlike and well trance inducing feel for an ultimate lift-off.

Finally „Hazy Vision“ sees Sous Sol on a well funky tip, once again bringing forth masterly crafted percussion vibes alongside a classic uplifting pad motif harking back to a mid-90s House vibe accompanied by large scale build-ups and the duos trademark mysticism, all falling into place to channel dancefloor energies towards a huge, and surely inevitable, climax.

For 2k20 SOAME is back with a new EP release on Hive Audio and it's a big one. A staple within the labels roster since day dot, the prolific DJ, producer and promoter delivers three tracks on his brand new outing, the „Child EP“, which defo prove why SOAME has been rated one of the top dons within the electronic music scene of his homeland Switzerland for long. 

Opening with the title track, „Child“ SOAME presents a deep, seductive fusion of super dry bass drums, mystically floating melodies and blurred, fever'ish, non-verbal chants speaking to the very core of every punters subconscious whilst overwhelming bass waves and a certain, melody-inducing groove are rounding things off for now and ever, turning this cut into an all time favorite for a reason.

Following up is Gorge's rework for the EP's opener in which the German producer is flipping „Child“ into a muscular, detailed fusion of TechHouse and slowly evolving, ever functional melodic sound of hypnotically grooving, yet super groovy nature, culminating in one of the most extended beautiful mid-track breaks you'll ever hear out on dancefloors this year.

With „Old School“ we see SOAME finally exploring sonic territories built on a foundation of warm, seductive House grooves garnished with layers upon layers of warm, harmonic pads, friendly, playful and all embracing melodies as well as carefully reworked vocal samples for a sweet dose of additional thrill.

Hardy Heller & Alex Connors, already released this year on labels such as "Harthouse", "BluFin", "Plastic City" as well as so far one track on their own imprint "Ohral Recordings" as part of the compilation "a rock, a river, a tree". After they caused some serious chart action at beatport in 2020 with their productions also this release shows they both are knack for making captivating and affirmative music. "Colmar" builds with cool filter sound a laid-back vibe but also the track doesn't lack drive at all. After deep house hero Mihai Popoviciu listened to the original he was absolutely motivated to add his very personal, special deep house skillz to the release. a massive remix for sure which makes the track even more danceable and infectious. Without any doubt worth playing & listening these deep house release brought to you by real & passionate djs & producers ...
