The Dead Trends are an indie-pop/rock band from Durban, South Africa. 
Our Debut EP, Melancholic Melodies, is out now! 

Having just released their EP, the band plan of touring and promoting themselves and their music around South Africa.

"If The Dead Trends were around in my days of trying to win girls over with mixtapes, each song on this EP would have found it’s way on to numerous burnt cds" Durban Is Yours (Blog)

Their first single to go on iTunes, "Yesterday" had been play-listed onto Durban Youth Radio and Mr Price Radio (which was aired around the country.) Months later, they recorded four more songs in studio with Brent Quinton and their debut EP, "Melancholic Melodies" was created.
