Native Waves Radio is a weekly radio program as part of the CFUV 101.9fm radio family. Native Waves Radio has been on the air since February 2007. Mohawk host Janet Rogers aka DJ January is passionate about promoting music by Indigenous artists through the airwaves locally, regionally and globally. Native Waves Radio is committed to advancing communications which effect and influence native communities politicaly, socially, environmentally, economically etc. while creating a space where the arts and issues overlap.
