A song about times when I feel outside of myself. It can be unsettling or weird, but also sometimes freeing. Other than vocals, kick, and piano, all instruments in this song were made from sounds recorded in a span of 10 minutes around my apartment. Thanks to Brian Funk and Ableton for a cool found sounds speedrun challenge! The photo is my feet in slippers from a hotel in Madrid.

„a style of Doom blending from destructive energy to a own creative dominance“

Epic Down is a duo from Leipzig, Germany dedicated to the sluggish grooves and lumbering riffs of sludge & doom, started in 2021 by Mitzschi (guitar(s)/bass) and Fabian (drums/vocals).
Influenced by primal doom, drone and stoner, the sound of Epic Down is mainly characterized by solid downtempo grooves and rolling walls of guitars, complemented by slightly melancholic vocals.

With the release of their first EP "Equinox Pt1" and it’s sequel "Equinox Pt2" in 2023, the band stepped into the light of publicity.
After signing to Argonauta Records the band was able to celebrate the release of „days of oblivion“ as their debut album in fall 2024.
