The damage we keep doing to planet Earth in the name of progress needs to be addressed right now. Hopefully, for the sake of future generations, we haven't reached the point of no return quite yet. But we must be very close.

Planet Earth is suffering, it's health is getting poor,
Millions of people here, are shouting out for more,
We are generating waste and the globe is warming fast,
Everybody's asking now, how long can this all last,

We've got to act right now, to change the world somehow,
While we've still got the time, to put an end to its decline,

Governments of nations seem to turn a deaf ear,

This song is the tribute to Athen, my cat who was by my side for 17 years. It isn’t about putting everything into words, but about the presence he carried, quiet, steady, never asking for anything. I loved being alone, but I wasn’t lonely until he was gone. This track holds the small moments of memory, the routines, and the weight of absence that made alone feel different.

First of all thanks for dropping in on my page.
I sing, write songs and play rhythm guitar. I'm trying to learn a bit of bass. People tell me I've got a reasonable voice and I have a liking for melody. As I make my way with multi-track home recording, I'm hoping the the end result will be greater than the sum of the parts!
