It was a year ago I originally released "Angels", a most unlikely event given that it was a mouse click away from ever seeing the light of day.  I didn't like how it was progressing and wanted to scrap the whole thing.  That's the time you walk away and let it steep, let the idea mature and if it is a good one, let it fly.  Your response showed it was good beyond my hopes, and now made even better with Debra's wonderful playing on this second flight.  I hope you think so too. WHAT WOULD I SING...(acoustic piano/vocals)

'For Now' is a dedication to "Mother Earth and is in part, the sorrow that I feel for the desecration of Planet Earth. The piece is in the form of a soundscape, for the want of a better genre description. However that aside, I still have a positive attitude towards over coming the forces of darkness, that are intent upon destroying this beautiful place that we all call home. So Happy New Year to all and health and happiness for 2022.

For Now

The mysterious 'Cup and Rings' rock art created over 3,000 years ago in Europe have fascinated archeologists over many years. In 1981 an unusual specimen was uncovered in an urban woodland in the Yorkshire city of Sheffield which I make a point of visiting regularly. This neolithic masterpiece lies tucked away in Ecclesall Woods and is characterised by a variant of the usual concentric circles design, which gives a unique outline to its carving. This funkier version of Stone Age expression deserves a celebration in music which is attempted here....
