This song is a one-night-jam. The vocals could be sung ways better, It is a one-shot, the very first recording I did. But it had a kind of charme and so I kept it.

The mist and the landscape evoke memories of the poet's childhood, and she longs to return to the time when she felt safe and happy under her father's roof. There is also an acknowledgment that a time has passed, and the melancholy that something will never be the same.

Atomic Love is a product of our current times, reflecting the social unrest we're experiencing with the return of the arms race and the Cold War, and the ever-growing threat of global thermonuclear war. We chose the anniversary of the Hiroshima bombing as the official release date to further raise awareness about this critical issue that affects us all.

Jdam/C.Malz - Crossing The Great Divide

Inspired by a hike to the Pico Ruivo on the portuguese Island of Madeira with my son David.  When it is cloudy at the sea level and you pass the low level clouds on the way up to the summit then you feel like heaven's gate is opening and you look the from the mountain tops down to the sea of clouds. The spirit of the olympic gods seems so close (except that Greece is not just around the corner ;) ).

Tom again approached me with a beautiful piano melody and an initial arrangement that he hoped I’d add lyrics and vocals. Shortly afterwards, Jussi gave the whole thing a wonderful rhythm and the first lead guitar you will hear.  Tom once again had the great idea to ask Hidefumi to complete the song with a powerful guitar solo in the coda. Thank you to everyone who helped make this come together, and a very special thanks to all of you for listening.

Had a low moment today, sat down played some random stuff that was good and I could have built a track of it however, it made me even lower in state. Suddenly I just layed this chord-line instead and got this melody in my head. It took me fast to a differant state.
