ARTIST NOTE: I’m one of those people who has developed a high tolerance for uncertainty, instability I endured in childhood, and because of it, I learned with courage and loving support to harness uncertainty into inspiration, a drive to create.

For me, the unknown is an invitation, as if life has offered me blank canvases upon which to paint. Or a keyboard and computer upon which to express sounds that I hear in my head and heart. That for me, is a Benevolent Enigma, the awesome mystery of why and how something springs forth from what seems like nothing — how beauty emerges out of a barren void  like a rose growing out of a concrete sidewalk.

Enigma

This instrumental track, performed by GOLTZ (Gunther Benedict-drums, Christoph Musil-bass, Mario Palaschke-keyboards), is the result of a nightly improvisation that started out in search of some musical idea but quickly developed a desire for swing.

Final mix of this tribute to all pollinators. Vanessa atalanta (aka Red Admiral) was formerly known as 'The Red Admirable'. This beautiful butterfly is on the ropes and in need of our help. The admirable creature needs long grass and not manicured lawns.

Jazz meditation

This track inspired by a Hike with friends of time to the the summit of Rondetslottet in Rondane Nationalpark in Norway. It was October 2022 and we were surprised by snowfall. No losses on the way up and down fortunately. Why post a winter song in the summer? Don't ask me, I am nuts... ;-) 
PS: so nuts that I forgot about our friends down under! Happy winter season, Steve and al. 🥶😎
