Born in Hamburg and based in Berlin since 2011, Viscerale has a classical background in piano and found her passion to select the music for the right moment since she was young. Her first electronic mixtapes appeared around 2015 and officially started DJing in clubs in October 2017. She played in several countries including the US, was holding a residency at Ved Siden Af in Copenhagen, and is a regular in Berlin Clubs like Säule (Berghain), About Blank, OHM, or Griessmühle. Viscerale joined the Source Artists Agency in 2021. Driven by strong emotions and influenced by various genres from Techno to Trance. Her journeys are seeking high energy levels in a playful way with surprising twists. 140 bpm upwards is her comfort zone.

Viscerale told us what inspired her most to record this podcast for us: "After creating a ruthless hardcore tracklist for a few weeks, I completely changed the direction within 3 days. I had some very insightful moments and felt like calming down again. I want to take you on a more lighthearted deep trip with this journey, to dream of uncertain futures."

Materialising in the dank, unruly pockets of Australia’s warehouse rave scene, Tred now resides deep in Neukölln, Berlin, where he has sharpened a focus on his own narrative of modern club culture, identity and high powered techno weapons.

Cheeky, uncompromising and driven by an unrelenting tempo are common traits of a Tred set. This no bullshit approach has drawn the attention of the provocative Munich based queer collective Bottom Topixxx where he takes up residency. Whether it’s peak time at Säule or a closing set at Tresor, his sets emit restless energy that show little regard for genre definitions, assertively blending any style that he is entertained by. It’s rapid body music with an emotive tinge, all mixed with a flair that celebrates classic rave nostalgia, tribal groove and contemporary dance-floor burners.

A similar style emerges when you look into the growing back catalogue of Tred’s studio productions. Having had selected works pressed across imprints such as Lobster Theremin, 1Ø PILLS MATE, E-Missions, and Amniote Editions, what becomes obvious is his ability to capture the energy of many influences. Head-strong in approach, 2021 will see a number of debut’s further his sonic sensibilities.

After a brilliant techno release the guys at Annunaki came together with a completely fresh take on a late summer jumper, titled Jump Up. AiDoll delivers the EP’s head tune, masterfully swapping his usual techno style to a rolling drum’n’bass with an ambient and cleverly set-up introduction that fuses filtered blips, piano stabs and key rolls. Hooked in indeed you quickly step into the breakdown with dub alike use of reggae voices, mixing in another genre tactfully. The bridge crosses to oriental synth roll and ends the tune in uppity fashion. Yet the party doesn’t stop here, when another resident artist paired with his other half in the form of DubDiggerz (Greenx & Wild), showcase a much darker version crossing over to dubstep territory. The basslines are low, the anticipation high and FX fly all over the place while eerie arps, pads & swift snares smack 360⁰ of the sound stage. Welcome to the proper flip side. A new artist RootsInSession brings it back to d’n’b waters, carrying a remix spliced with trademark tape delays, great use of horn(y) main hook, complementing vox reverb and processed original speech. Pitched down bass notes, gritty distortion and overall jumpy vibe. After the brake track shuffles to jungle vibe to the tune rounds up the record and leaves up to its name nicely.

Born in Greece with Italian and Austrian descent, DJ and producer Marina George specialises in creating a unique, captivating atmosphere for her audience. Building energy through groovy, hypnotic and driving techno, she always remains focused on depth, texture and sensuality. Original sampling, soundscapes and intelligent track selection ensure Marina connects with her audience both musically and emotionally.

Now based in Berlin, she frequents iconic clubs such as Renate, Watergate, Sisyphos and Tresor where she has curated her own nights and has landed residencies with Bloom and Texture. 

Marina's work is strongly influenced by a passion for psychology. Her music is infused with her own voice or samples from others on the subject; her curated nights are paired with interviews with her booked artists. All with the goal of shining a light on mental health within the music industry.

Since her first release on Suara, Marina has taken the time in her new homebase to truly refine her sound and speak her voice through sound waves. This podcast contains a number of freshly finished tracks with a mental health theme, blended with music by artists who greatly inspire her work.

Our next premiere is a track titled 'Encoded D.N.A. Synthesis' taken from NN's 'Dystopian Society' vinyl EP due to be released on Paris based label Demian Records.

With this release, the artist lays the foundations of the label. Through four original tracks, NN (Nuit Noire) offers a romanticised EP, rich in cinematographic landscapes. He portrays various scenes of a dystopian world with the power of ancestral ritual to epic choruses, the sound design of each piece will immerse you into different atmospheres. Associated with the dark techno that makes his style stands out, the selection also happens to be composed by very efficient DJ tools. 

For Encoded D.N.A. Synthesis 'to escape this punishment and rise to the rank of the divine, the human uses his knowledge to overcome his own condition. Hope or clueless redemption? There is a certain melancholy in this tribal track, as if to close a premeditated wandering.'
