Daniel Figueiredo, nascido em Toronto, é a mente por trás de Yøhkan. Um projeto criado para expressar sua paixão pela música. Desde jovem, a música teve um papel importante na sua vida, mas só aos 20 e poucos anos descobriu a alegria de expressar o seu gosto musical através da mixagem. Tocar apenas entre amigos se transformou em dedicação em tempo integral e, consequentemente, o levou a tocar em vários países. Pouco tempo depois, mergulhou na produção musical, onde lançou faixas de sua autoria, juntando-se ao colombiano Kulto Label com seu EP "Origem" e sua recente participação no "Secret Garden", V.A lançado por uma das labels mais respeitados de Barcelona no melodic techno, Wood. Sempre em busca desse toque melódico, sua música é para contar uma história. Seja uma faixa ou dj set, através de leads penetrantes, percussões interessantes e pads intrigantes, você pode esperar ser levado em uma jornada profunda e memorável a cada batida do caminho.

Daniel Figueiredo, born in Toronto, is the mind behind Yøhkan. A project created to express his passion for music. Since young, music has had an important part in his life, but it wasn't,t until his early 20's that he discovered the joy of expressing his musical taste through dj'ing. Mixing just between friends turned into a full time dedication, and consequently led him to playing in venues across several countries. Not long after, music production came into play, where since then he has released tracks of his own making,  joining Colombian's Kulto Label with his EP "Origem" and  his recent participation on the "Secret Garden" V.A released by one of Barcelona's most respected melodic techno imprint, Wood. Always searching for that melodic touch, his music is meant to tell a story. Be it a track or dj set, through piercing leads, interesting percussions and intriguing pads, you can expect to be taken on a deep and memorable journey every beat of the way.
