Italian based project Vito Lalinga (Vi Mode Inc. Project) is back with his new album 'Guru in the Jungle'. In this new release the artist exposes nine brand new and freshly produced tracks under the fundamentals of afro and funk. 

The album has an elegant vibe through all nine tunes, from warm and organic tones, to fusion style and grooves with fat beats and an overall jazz and latin vibe. What is not missing, but mostly dominates here, is the modern deep funk style cooked up well with African and Latin root genres. 

'Guru in the Jungle' gives a pleasant way to listen, feel, breathe and get a groove on with deep and energising songs constructed under a modern mid tempo dance floor concept.

Il a préparé un mix “sans concession” à partir de sa collection personnelle de vinyles !

Ugly Mac Beer a sorti “The Valley Of The Kings” le 27 janvier dernier, un album entre hip-hop, lo-fi et broken beat, inspiré des années 1990 ! Ce disque instrumental aux sonorités orientales emmène l’auditeur dans un voyage temporel très cinématographique.

Il débute à la fin des années 1990 comme DJ du groupe La Formule, aux côtés de Wax Tailor puis entame sa carrière solo dans les années 2000. C’est là qu’il s’impose comme une figure emblématique de la scène turntablism / scratch en France, comme artiste et producteur, avec son label Beatsqueeze Records. Il collabore notamment avec Mister Modo, MF Grimm, Kool Keith, Mike Ladd, El Da Sensei, et bien d’autres encore… En 2009 il sort “Modonut”, suivi du second opus “Modonut 2” en 2012. Ugly Mac Beer travaille aussi comme compositeur de musique à l’image pour le monde de la publicité et du cinéma.

“Life In The Wild Garden” is my second album and it follows the footsteps of the first one "Five Finger Discount" but this time the whole is seasoned with lazy boom bap beats, and smooth field recordings - to make it more personal. 
I moved out from the city of Budapest to a nice village on the northern side of Hungary in late 2017. The new environment and lifestyle, far from the noisy and loud capital served as the main inspiration source to make “Life In The Wild Garden”. The title itself is a word play and also a nod to my new home village Érsekvadkert which could be translated roughly to English as Bishop’s Wild Garden.
