Kato De Vidts returns to the Futurepast imprint with "Human Becomings" EP, the release is part of our Alternative Earth series (FP005). The basis for many of the tracks on her "Human Becomings" EP was created for a DJ performance at Horst Arts & Music Festival's ambient stage last year. Her aim for this performance was to create a collective serenity through music, a unified experience where the audience would be encouraged to shed light on their own vulnerable presence and emotion. Her creative process is now extended on this EP and becomes an invitation inwards for the listener. Each track is in some way inspired by the artist's own personal feelings, memories, and experiences. And in the sharing of these personal extracts through music, De Vidts hopes listeners might be able to recognize the depths of their own inner worlds, to feel and embrace them. 

Monument premieres the title track of EP which will be released on the 16th of February.

We welcome Medulla Oblongata on Chronos with his debut "Ho visto il buio venire" EP which took its title from an art print with the same title by Boris Jakobek which is covering his Ep. This poster immediately spoke to the artist in terms of his concerns about the future in the light of the 6th extinction and the disasters of global warming on the horizon, as a father he is and as a human being or simply as a living being on this Earth we are destroying Medulla managed to capture those concerns and turn them in 6 drone-ish tracks.
