Reign. is a german DJ and producer.  He started producing electronic music in 2015 as part of the duo disørda.  During this time his focus was on Industrial Techno. Over the years his sound developed so that in 2017 he began releasing music under his second pseudonym Reign., in which he could realize his passion for hypnotic and deep techno.

Our next guest is a one of the founders of @thecodecast. A well crafted music selector his vision of techno is a bit ritualistic, but aims to generate dark yet groovy and impactful atmospheres, using hypnotic sounds to impact the mind and percussion and grooves that impact the body as well. This submission highlights those combinations as a resents a balance of lightness with dark tones to create a beautiful atmosphere of emotions. Kill Acid On Space, Unclear and Øyvind – The Alchemical Theory project was born in 2018. The favourite sounds of the three artists, ranging from modular electronic sounds to much more atmospheric soundscapes, is the essential influence here. This project also comes from the love of mysticism, alchemy and nature. Hear something that affects the listeners' mind, reproducing a real mental journey in Black Wave podcast no. 39.

Polished by the sun and dried in extreme heat, a barren rock arises from the blue seas. Or so it may appear to the untrained eye. Flora adapts even in these conditions, so does the fauna. Patches of greenery seen here and there, lizards and mice, rabbits and birds flicker their tails in your peripheral vision. Hope persists. 
Although, an archipelago keeps its gem beneath – submerge in turquoise to the aquamarine watercolour palette. Grasp all but the little piece of the fluorescent wilderness of the underwater world. Transfer the body and your spirit to the seaweed forest gently soothed by the currents and the waves.

It’s through the moves that punctuated his childhood that Mown developed his knowledge of music and his tastes: metal in the north, zouk, classical music and all kinds of pop in the larger cities of the south of France. Coming of age, he discovers electronic music through artists like Autechre, Björk or Daft Punk. A passionate and lightly asocial character, he spends large parts of his student life learning how to mix and produce. Following several trips to Berlin, he chooses a path of self-exile to the German capital and draws his budding inspiration in the nordic aesthetic of the old Soviet buildings and the city’s never ending winters. He continues to explore the hypnotic and introspective sides of his techno. Mown has been compulsively collecting records that he serves out in daring, intense and genre-spanning sets: from ambient to electro and from acid to dub-techno.

Revelation of Sound is pleased to present Biocym. Biocym is an artistic project from Italy that seeks to awaken emotions by expressing its feelings towards reality and the use of atmospheres and scenarios reflected in its sound. The main nucleus of his work reflects the attitude that man must embody in order to move in a dark and inscrutable reality that he must face when he inevitably explores it. Biocym represents the way in which the artist approaches the way of awakening in himself by contemplating the infinite variety of landscapes of reality and proposes his progressive deepening. His music is the meeting point of his two influences: natural sounds and those other sounds generated by his creativity.

CODECAST X - MOGO - Blade Runner

Aaaah finally.

In a period where I was dangerously close to losing all interest in the techno scene. When I really start questioning why and for what reason I have been doing this. Amongst all the self-indulgence, commercially obsessed promoters, "exclusive" clubs and elitist underground nonsense attitudes, I didn't expect looking at secondnature's website to change my mood so much.

Modest, genuine and above all represents, to me at least, the fundamental reason behind this type of music. A real interest to just get the music to the people. Josef Gaard was my route to discovering secondnature and his mix was equally open and full of interest. Easily my favourite of the podcasts I have released in recent times and did enough to knock me back on track, with some really inventive tracks full of depths and character. I seriously recommend checking this and the whole of secondnature out.

Top stuff.

"Born and educated in Rome, the young Italian producer Luigi Tozzi was strongly influenced by the roman scene and its local artists, many of whom gave a crucial contribution to the birth and growth of the deep techno sound. Luigi’s music has so far been released on the established label Dynamic Reflection as well as setting a regular cooperation with the very promising and mysterious techno label Hypnus Recordsfrom Sweden, where he found a platform that inspired him to develop his style. Melting the tribal and hypnotic elements of techno with the atmospheric and emotional side of ambient music he is making his own path in the world of electronics. Recently this has gotten him in contact with Dino Sabatini which led to the opportunity to join Outis Music that has released well known artists such as MODERN HEADS (Official page), Brando Lupi, Donato Dozzy among others"

After coming back from Hamburg to his home city Turin, Edoardo Zerbinati totally reorganized his life, together with setting up a new studio in the town.

Back in that cloudy, rainy, romantic place where he was initiated to the Techno music culture, he saw the release of his debut album on Silent Season and, after that, the label has been selected as “label of the month” by Resident Advisor.

Some months later, the canadian label also put out an Edanticonf’s EP with a remix by the mysterious Sweden producer Abdulla Rashim. This collaboration on a limited vinyl was charted in the Top Techno Chart by some of the most important vinyl shops through the world.

All the textures in this set are written and produced by Edoardo Zerbinati with using mainly analog equipment (additional production by Iori and Decoside, remixed by Edanticonf). A lot of pieces of music are unreleased or played in a live version and due to this reason it’s not possible to attach a complete track list. The man and the perception of the infinite are the main themes of his compositions; Techno music lends itself to this goal with the integration of sounds inspired by natural landscapes.
