This week we welcome a new guest to our mix series who's provided us one of the most tastefully curated sets we've heard yet.  

Ripplefactor is a well known Deep Techno artist based in Melbourne. He is a resident of Savage Art Productions and Red Moon Tribe. Savage is a collective focusing on promoting all kinds of arts with Techno as its catalyst. Red Moon Tribe needs no introduction within Australia. With the most diverse style of artists as their residents, the tribe is known for their infamous takeovers, warehouse raves and regular sold out nights at MyAeon.


With his exposure to deep, experimental, left field genres of Techno, Ripplefactor creates a special mix for Proxima Frequencies featuring a wide array of vibrant and hypnotising sounds. Exploring the genre in depth, he introduces his listeners to soundscapes that truly represent the ethos of underground techno.

We're super excited to announce that our latest podcast has been provided by our friend from Colombia @lopar_music. In this episode, he is exploring many corners of electronic music. Sensing the approaching summer in the air, I hope you will enjoy these 90 minutes of a very special journey full of pure groove!

Lopar has been playing for more than 4 years, he began his career as a professional dj in Decibel Academy (Intelligent Division) in Medellin, Colombia. His sound goes from the deepest to the most hypnotic and mental. Sailing through sub-genres like ambient, neo tribal and down tempo. Lopar seeks to immerse the listener in a vortex which makes him travel around Space & Time.
His identifiable taste and great selection had given him the pleasure to perform along side re known international artists like Anthony Linell, Etapp Kyle and Alfredo Mazzilli.

All this trajectory gave him the opportunity to perform in clubs like Club 1984 in Medellin, Colombia and also at Seis Bar in Manizales, Colombia.

Lately he has contributed with outstanding podcats for great platforms like Ruina, Outer Dimension, Fur: ther Sessions, Indefinited Pitch, a streaming for the great MONUMENT team and many more.

Through this journey he has been able to connect with like minded people and artists who have inspired him to sculpt a narrative style which he tries to portray through his mixes. Believing that music is created as a resonance of what we perceive from around us, he is forever on the look out for inspiration from nature, abstract architecture and mystifying art. Driven by what inspires him, he endeavours to delve into more experimentation with his upcoming projects.

@eafhmlive is a multidisciplinary project created recently by the evolution of different artistic and exploratory stages. 
This project has developed different facets, including a career as an interpreter and audio producer when experimenting with a wide variety of musical sequences. It seeks the integration of oscillating interpersonal ideas among the variety of solid conceptions. This project also defines the transformation of the artist that has developed under different aliases for many years. 
Each interpretation is made to create an atmosphere based on sound art, generative art and Techno in its different variations.

Lopar is a Colombian DJ, based in the city of Manizales in the western central region of the country. After initiating his mixing studies at Medellin’s Academia Decibel back in 2016, he has since formulated his own unique sound that ranges from deep and pensive, to hypnotic and mentally intriguing. Lopar’s artistry sees him navigate through a myriad of subgenres to create a soundscape that is both ambient and tribal, allowing the listener to embark upon an explorative journey through the past and the future.

His distinctive tastes and great selections have elevated him to performances alongside globally renowned acts such as Anthony Linell & past EQUINOX guest Etapp Kyle - and now, we’re proud to showcase the latest contribution to EQUINOX Invites from him. Authentically deep, dubby sounds ebb and flow throughout, as Lopar demonstrates his pedigree within the deep techno scene.

Lopar’s enthralling mix is a fitting conclusion to the first of many series’ within EQUINOX Invites. Twelve mixes were showcased, each of them accompanied by meticulously prepared bespoke artwork to reflect the seasonality of our calendar year.
