Vand’s (@vandmusic) sets are explorations into story-telling hypnotica with a crossover from ambient to dancefloor material. With releases on Nyame Records (@nyamerecords), a double EP collaboration with Bas Dobbelaer on Something Happening Somewhere (@sohaso) and his solo appearance on Madrid based F-on’s Alpenglühen (@f-ondj), he is now mostly affiliated to the ISOTOOP collective (@isotoop), helping with the organisation of events and transmitting their unique global sonic identity.

Anders grew up in the south of Sweden, but since 2009 he lives in Berlin where he as now his home and studio, working on new productions and managing his label Cinus, founded in 2020.

Anders has spent countless of hours in his studio producing music for more than a decade. The tracks he produce are atmospheric, bass heavy with droning landscapes, driven percussion and deep intensity. His music has been released in labels such as Circular Limited, Northallsen Records, NFEREE or Ordinamento Selettivo among others.

Anders plays deep and shimering techno that moves minds with a truthful emotion. A dynamic palet of colours takes the listener on a trip yto a vast distant environment where new and abstract landscapes rise. A modern and high fidelity version of the past where new shapes occur into the right ritual.

This is my remix of Jantelagen, created for the Inspired by Trees - Jantelagen Remix Contest, hosted by Dowden for his Patreon members. Originally crafted by Paege, the label head at Inspired by Trees, Jantelagen is a stunning piece that also features a remix by Dowden, released earlier in 2024.

For my take, I leaned into an uplifting, atmospheric vibe inspired by nature, aiming to bring a deep progressive house energy that feels both expansive and grounded.

Fractions of seconds later, a sound wave of magnetic pressure hits you gracefully with accurate and elegant bass distortion, alongside background soundscapes you would never want to leave behind. Radiation in the form of catchy dark-luminous melodies and overwhelming low-end signals travels through the earth (soul), removing the atmosphere and heating the surface in the process. It definitely knocks us out of orbit. A starquake just happened.
