Another year and another incredible night under the God Said No pyramid at Blazing Swan. Although this has become such a familiar place, I can never fully prepare myself for how incredible the vibe is every time.

I am very pleased to present to the world, my set from the Melodic Madness night on Friday. This one is a true journey down the path of hypnotic, bass driven melodic techno. It's hard to describe what makes this set different to my usual style, however I feel like has a level of cohesion and more of a rolling subtle build to what you may have learnt to expect from me, but maybe I'm over thinking it. Either way I'm very happy with how this journey has turned out.

1-2:30 pm set on the Sunday at Blossom Festival 2023. It was the fifth year of Blossom and my third year playing main stage. I was trusted with the job of handing over to an international act, The Sponges. The sun was shining and the vibes were Very good!

This is a recording of my last practice session before Blossom, with the tracks I seriously considered playing.  My actual set at Blossom was very similar to what is recorded here with some differences as I adjusted to the environment slightly.  Also this mix is an extra 40minutes longer (why not).
This mix starts quite deep and slowly builds up, there are some deep and dubby sounds in here which I thought would work really well for a 9 a.m. set.  It does get a little more tougher later.

Another year, another Blossom Festival and what an incredible one that was, celebrating our 5th year. Closing out the main stage is always such an moving experience for me, a whole year of hard work peaking at this moment, filled with a mix of emotions. Joy, triumph, exhaustion, relief & gratitude of which I try to channel all of these feelings through the music with this final journey of the festival. ⚜️ It's difficult to put into words the immense gratitude and sheer joy I experienced during my time performing at Funkazba. The electric atmosphere and energy of the crowd were beyond description, and I vibed every moment of it.

To all those who joined us on our last night, I want to express my overwhelming gratitude for allowing me the privilege of sharing the closing set alongside Leeroy on Percussion. Despite encountering some technical hiccups with the recordings, I'm excited to present this unrefined glimpse of the night to you. My hope is that it can give a glimpse into the feeling of the night and its ever lasting memories.

It was starting to look like this set was never going to see the light of day. Had my head down for a while, but here it is, my set from the Thursday night under the God Said No pyramid at Blazing Swan 2019. Always my favourite place to play every year. Went for a bit more chunk with the sounds this year, was a lot of fun. Always such a special moment to drop an all time classic track towards the end, who knows which one it is?

Anonymous Prankster has become a lot less anonymous over recent years. The man has been making waves within the Western Australian scene, both as a DJ and promoter. As head honcho of the TAONS brand, he has been credited as playing a key role in revitalising the melodic and progressive house/techno scene in Perth. Further to this AP is also known for his work as theme camp lead for the iconic Blazing Swan theme camp God Said No, as well as the man at the top of Western Australia's Blossom Festival, which had it inaugural year in 2019. 

As a DJ, Anonymous Prankster is all about deep and progressive vibes. Melodic music at it's finest. AP will take you on a journey through his sets comprising of powerful, emotive tunes which are a story within themselves. Having supported the likes of Eelke Kleijn, Way Out West, 16bit Lolita’s, Animal Trainer, Laurent Garnier, Pan-Pot and Extrawelt, Anonymous Prankster is certainly one to watch.
