Decidi que não iria deixar passar este 8 de Março sem fazer algo "Like it Was" uma Homenagem a vós, por tudo o que são e representam. A intenção era boa, mas cheguei a pensar "I don't now what to do", para que não parece-se de todo banal, de circunstância. Até que cheguei a esta forma, usando títulos de músicas, para transmitir o que vai "On my Mind"!
"All i heard" desde miúdo sobre a emancipação da Mulher, com a conquista de muitos direitos, entre os quais maior igualdade de oportunidades e até mesmo mais Liberdade! "Freedom, what for?" Acho que tudo não passa de pura demagogia! Ok, têm-se visto mudanças positivas, e "Roma e Pavia não se fizeram num dia". Todavia há situações inaceitáveis, como continuarem a ter salários mais baixos, comparativamente aos homens. Não há mulheres nos centros de decisão, salvo raras excepções, mas são necessárias mais, muitas mais!! Por isso digo, MULHER "Do You Believe" em ti? "Don't be Afraid"!!! Têm de ir "Holdin' On"! Não queiram ser apenas as "Stars" que pontuam a "Darkest Night" e transformem-se no "Hurricane" que dará a volta a este estado de coisas! Está visto que nós homens só temos feito asneira da grossa! Invertam a máxima de que "atrás de um grande homem há sempre uma grande mulher". Quando isso acontecer, acredito que a vida passará a ser "La Fête" que tanto desejamos.
Portanto, sejam felizes neste dia e nos restantes também!!
Da minha parte, serei um "Slave to Your Heart"!!
