Created for the first round of the Summoner of Sounds video game music composition event for RPGMaker.net.  The first round was "lighthearted", and I took a slightly different approach—rather than laid back works, like others made, I went for an all-out over-caffienated boss battle theme. You can blame Jake Kaufman for that idea, with inspiration coming from the soundtracks of Shovel Knight (Tinker Knight's first theme) and Shantae and the Pirate's Curse (The Nightmare Woods run theme).

All percussion elements are from Impact Soundworks' "Rhapsody Orchestral Percussion" Kontakt library, available at http://impactsoundworks.com.

Dooqu - How Long (ft. Trove)

So, here we go. When I started this account I had no idea what to expect. Was my music going to be received well; were people going to want to listen to it? Of course, like most music artists, I make music for the joy of doing so. If you don't love what you do, you can never hope to excel at it. However to have my music appreciated by so many people already has been incredible, so thank you.

In particular, this piece is a follow up to the track "Then She Spoke," which received an incredible amount of attention. The support and kind words that I have received as a result of that track blew my expectations out of the water. 

To say thank you for such overwhelming support I have put together a MIDI pack, which just needs finalising and then it will be available for free for anyone who would like to use it. Thank you again, and see you on the next track!
