The third studio album from Amanati is the artist's most personal and cohesive project to date, including all of the singles released in 2024, like 'Heroes', 'Moira' and the hit 'Medusa', plus 4 brand new unreleased tracks, created solely for the album. It is the first time Amanati releases an album on 200 Limited Edition Vinyl Records and 200 Limited Edition CDs, which all sold out within one month from the launch of the pre-orders.

'Catharsis' is a sonic journey, following a vivid exploration of both light and darkness, through Amanati's signature soundscapes and sound design, taking the listener on a trip from the deepest parts of abyss, to the most pure form of liberation.

That’s about right! Techno living legend Derrick May played Van Czar – Vapeur Tardive, out on Eyepatch Recordings, in his latest BBC – 6 Mix radioshow!

Along with Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May is viewed as one of the founding fathers of Techno - a genre which has for a quarter of a century been constantly revolutionising electronic dance music and clubbing culture.
His seminal track 'Strings of Life' changed the game and sounds as fresh in DJ sets today as it did in 1987. In the words of Frankie Knuckles: "it just exploded. It was like something you can't imagine, the kind of power and energy people got off that record when it was first heard. Mike Dunn says he has no idea how people can accept a record that doesn't have a baseline."
Having taken influence from the likes of Parliament, Gary Numan and Kraftwerk, while helping to create a platform which made it possible for The Prodigy, Carl Craig and Richie Hawtin to make the music they have done - expect two hours of the premium music.

Elusive dutch DJ and producer, nthng, announces his second album ‘Hypnotherapy’ on Lobster Theremin. Previously putting out records on his own label Transatlantic, plus the likes of Delsin, Lobster Theremin and Mörk, this thoughtful long play spans dub techno, hazy ambient and mind-bending trance, traversing through different moods.

Float away with bright and airy opener, ‘50 Flower’. Spoken word samples intercept the ambience, bringing the listener down from the clouds. A2’s ‘I Just Am’ takes the EP into dub techno dancefloor territory with bolshy, rattling percussion and assertive vocals. ‘Heitt’ is a pacy slice of machine music for the wee hours, before drifting back to softness with barely-there ‘Beautiful Love’. ‘Wave Return’ injects a dose of wigged out energy, slowly evolving from drawn out dub into an effervescent jam. ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ rolls gently - a prime slice of chunky, driving electronica. nthng’s title track, ‘Hypnotherapy’, see’s the producer return to the ambient fringes of moody techno, barely-there kicks, and shimmering pads. Rounding out the album, weightless ‘With You’ is a romantic post club track, soft, longing vocals sit upon almost bird-like sounds. Digi only bonus, ‘And Then There Was Light’ is nthng’s most ethereal offering yet.
