Based in Stockholm/Sweden, Lakej [ Lákeɪ ] emerges from a long heritage of Swedish techno. After many years of explorations to refine his sound, he debuted on Adriana Lopez label Grey Report with the solo EP Structural Cohesion. This debut presented a theme that would guide not only his sound but also his concepts and titles to this current date resulting in his own label and artistic platform: Solitär.

With a huge love for details and rhythmic structures his music has evolved into an introspective, futuristic and yet timeless sound. With intricate textures, atmospheres and deep driving rhythms his music is constantly pushing forward contributing to the current modern underground techno scene. 

Since the debut his output has been steady on well established labels such as Semantica, NON series, Faut Section, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Soma and Kazerne (Mord).

TECHNO RAVE #2 at ROXY PRAGUE 08/06/2024

I managed to save the recording from my performance at the Darkshire in the Woods 2024 festival. I really enjoyed playing, and the festival blackout, which interrupted the whole event for about a 1 minute, added the perfect dark underground vibe. No one let it bother them, and we partied on until the morning… including my recorder, yay! :D

Acid Reflux: Mix Series #011 - ANSEA

Very happy to share the recording of my live set at Stone Techno Festival last summer.  Summer was full of highlights and this show was definitely one of them, with such a great energy and crowd at the stage hosted by Fuse. 

Technology will never be able to recreate a vibe on a dancefloor (I hope), but those who were there that day know it was something very special. 
Really enjoyed this one a lot.

Valentino Kazyani – the Slovenian techno don - is back! His fame goes way back into the mid nineties, when he and compatriot Umek paved the way for a Slovenian techno revolution, placing the ex-communist country firmly on the map as one of the most interesting scenes around. More than twenty years down the line, this father figure for those who grew up with looped tech house sound (which he expertly mixed on three turntables), proves he is unstoppable. Using his crafty knowledge to brew up a storm, the Recycled Loops and Earresistable label head-honcho slowly leads us into a stream of carefully considered mayhem in his three-hour live recording from Ambasada Gavioli, Slovenia, exclusive to MEOKO. Taking off very leisurely, he slowly cranks it up, hammering one burner after the next, never losing that sophisticated momentum. Cherished by all those who look for variety; the pace never slowing, this mix is the perfect soundtrack for a real trip down memory lane: the alleyway to nowhere.
