This spring, two Dutch heavyweights joined forces to release “Dynamo.” On one hand, there’s Laidback Luke‘s bouncy chords and a subtle taste of his signature bleep stylings, on the other there’s Hardwell‘s thunderous presence. Two months later, Laidback Luke brings “Dynamo” back to life on his Mixmash imprint and hands it over to some of his rising artists for remix duties.

Will Sparks injects an all new rhythm with tooting horns while Oliver Twizt returns with yet another trap mix. Ansol stretches the track’s melody but takes a gritty turn on the drop, and Sven Kirchhof offers the package’s most progressive tune. Shortly after giving away their impressive “On My Own,” ANSOL reemerges alongside Ken Loi with a preview of their upcoming collaboration. Loi, still off his August release of “The Wall,” matches talent up with ANSOL for “Knock Down,” a frenetic electro house offering that comes as a warfare of laser-laden synths. Fitting for its host imprint, Laidback Luke’s MixMash, the collaboration’s energy is brought full circle with a vocal contribution from Mina. “Knock Down” will be released on September 30th but has already started making its round across DJ sets.
