Method: vintage lemon drop, voice, field recordings into some of the following: roland vt4, obne dweller, warm audio foxy, zoom r 20, samplitude.
Narration: This is a poem about growing up. I will not include an interlinear translation. Both the nuclear mushroom and the moon are visible in the original text layout.

als ich kind
war, betrat ein
flimmernder mensch einen
flimmernden mond. das war wichtiger
als ich, diese befremdung. als ich kind
war, wucherte ein druckpilz in stille lagunen-
wasser der zeitlosen, bisher, atolle. das war mächtiger
als ich, diese tödliche teilkraft. als ich erwachsen
genannt wurde, abstrahiert und fragmentiert, entfremdet und zerblitzt
erreichte mich endlich die erkenntnis

dass

all dies

mit absicht veranlasst
wurde, nicht schicksal gewesen war, bevor
es schicksal wurde. die krähen, die
sich von schlachtfeldern nähren, werden vom
lurenklang eines gier-ich gerufen, einem gier-ich, das ich schließlich
