Physics is a Helsinki-based drum & bass producer, DJ, and the driving force behind Midnight Sun Recordings. Active since 1998, he’s known for crafting deep, soulful rollers with enough weight to hold their own on any dancefloor. His music has found homes on iconic labels such as Metalheadz, Hospital Records, Liquid V, and Fokuz.

With a discography that spans two decades, Physics continues to evolve balancing rich musicality with razor-sharp production. His latest release, “No Debts / Pisces and Capricorn” on Metalheadz, is a testament to his signature style: emotive yet heavy, precise yet organic.

As a DJ, Physics is a trusted name in the scene, with support from legends like Goldie, LTJ Bukem, and DJ Storm. His sets are immersive journeys through the genre’s full spectrum, always loaded with dubplates, unreleased cuts, and future classics.

Beyond his solo work, he also explores deeper collaborations as one half of Midnight Sons alongside Christian Champagne, pushing the boundaries of contemporary D&B while staying rooted in the genre’s essence.

Whether in the studio or behind the decks, Physics keeps the soul in drum & bass alive.

2000 - 2018

DJ Chops has been DJing and producing since 1997 and is also the DJ in Northern Irish Hip-Hop / Funk / Rock band ‘Team Fresh’. A self confessed vinyl junkie and producer, As a solo DJ, DJ Chops has played along side some of the worlds best DJs as well as gracing some of the best stages and venues in Ireland with a live band format. He has played with Caspa, Tek-One, Funtcase, DJ Yoda, DJ Format, DJ Woody, Scratch Perverts, Mr. Thing, DJ Flip, DJ Koncept and also scratched with Q-Bert & DJ Craze.

Heavily influenced by Hip Hop, Drum and Bass, Dubstep and Turntablism. DJ Chops has established himself as a class act, although completely deaf in his left ear DJ Chops has been able to develop into one of Ireland’s finest and most respected Hip Hop / DnB DJs. He has over come his disadvantage and been able to mix it with the best. DJ Chops has also gained critical acclaim with his production and live performances with Team Fresh.
