bijū arose from the need to explore the intersection of machine and body. The need to blur the boundaries between dehumanized electronic music and the natural environment. Its selection is a constant search between minimalist and dense, dynamic and slow, sharp and blurry sounds. His a journey, inspired by the multidimensionality of sound synthesis and the sounds coming from the abyss ... a journey that makes you feel inevitably fragile.
As part of the Warsaw collective SUMISH wants to strengthen interactions between people through synergies, exchange of vision and knowledge, building bridges between the islands of different disciplines. Author of the program Gnostic Methods, dedicated to industrial and experimental music - every month on Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. on Radio Kapitał.

Jego selekcja - to stałe poszukiwanie między minimalistycznymi, a gęstymi, dynamicznymi i powolnymi, ostrymi i rozmytymi brzmieniami. To podróż, zainspirowana wielowymiarowością syntezy dźwięku oraz odgłosami dochodzącymi z otchłani...podróż, która sprawia, że czujesz się nieuchronnie kruchy. 
W ramach warszawskiego kolektywu SUMISH pragnie wzmocnić interakcje między ludźmi przez synergie, wymianę wizji oraz wiedzy, budując mosty między wyspami różnych dyscyplin. Standards & Practices return with their second release this year, following the release of Krohn / Mjolsness's superb "Drummer" EP. The first proper Stave release since 2021's collaboration with Karim Maas on UVB-76, "Godless", "Saints No Drum" is a concise and definitive artistic statement from Jonathan Krohn that encompasses everything that made his previous releases so captivating, while taking his sound in exciting new directions.

"Drum 1 - 4" display a level of refinement and restraint rarely heard in modern electronic music, and there's a sustained atmosphere of brooding, simmering tension that's  simultaneously meditative and menacing. The interstitial tracks here ("Fred S", "Krohn / Schneider", "Squared Off", and the title track) add texture, depth, and nuance to a release that adds up to much more than the sum of its parts.

There are nights carved like the journey of the dead out of the livings' daylight. Mert Seger brings to our senses a two steps ritual for this debut on Kump. « Yétèkpãnra », freely inspired by the funeral rites of the Batãmmariba of Togo and Benin depicted by Dominique Sewane, runs along with no clear beginning nor any end, a sound sketch where the shapeless rustle from the depths of the night meets a procession of artefacts. In this space where the dead finds his way, time lost its importance and the whole piece can go on repeat, endlessly, a prayer wheel to guide whom can only keep his own shadow among the shadows of the other side. Two ceremonies to haunt the silence ; a new state of existence calls for a different listening. Where night becomes the beginning, again.
