Something different for the holidays.

A lot of synths, keyboard, guitars, bass, bassoon, sleigh bells, shakers, tambourine in a mix of beats from hip hop to pop at 85 bpm. Migrating geese in flight recorded live October and November 2023.

So I had recorded geese calls to use in music. What developed was a surprise to me, Wild Geese music that came pouring out in one eight-hour period on the day before winter solstice. Don’t know if it’s good — just what happened when the geese took me on the journey with them, flying high to their good weather hideaways or on a trip home.

Straight into a H6 recorder after a Eurorack mixer.  I do intend to reprocess this track.  Maybe through something like a bark filter or Modular sampler.
