This is a tribute EP to the astonishing music by English Post-Punk / No Wave / Punk Jazz band BLURT founded in 1979 in Stroud, Gloucestershire by existentialist poet, saxophonist and puppeteer Ted Milton.
You can find three experimental acid 303 "Trans-a-lento" edits by A-Tweed, designed for the most wild, free and sweaty dancefloors.

BLURT - The Ruminant Plinth (A-Tweed Edit)

After the hallucinate EP "Give Chance A Trance", Moderna and Theus Mago return to Duro with a reissue of their first collaboration work, 'Dog Is Calling You', originally released in 2016 under Chloè’s label, Lumière Noire. The reissue includes the three original cuts and the remix of ‘Dog is calling you’ by Die Wilde Jagd, plus three new remixes by Mexico based artists Mijo & Macaulay, Alinka of Twirl Records, and the Riotvan family Peter Invasion & Gregor Habicht .

The EP begins with the classic "Asesino Sicótico", a booming, dark and insane cut. It's a fusion of techno energy with house music groove. It's followed by "Dog Is Calling You", a slow mix of melted bass, orbital and acidic sounds. To close the original versions is the fan favorite "Papa En Roy", a mixture of classic techno with obsessive and repetitive bass lines, while Moderna's vocals take us on a lunatic journey.

The remix by Mijo & Macaulay of "Asesino Sicótico" is a hypnotic, insistent, and powerful cut. The bass line runs over you while the voice gets lost among synthesizers, pads, and percussion. Alinka surprises us with her version of "Papa En Roy", adding echoes of voices, a liquefying and electrifying bass, distorted percussion, and maniacal synthesizers.

Riotvan friends, Peter Invasion & Gregor Habicht, give us their version of "Papa En Roy", which is a forceful and exciting cut, creating bursts of energy perfect for the dance floor. To close the release is the version made by Die Wilde Jagd, a cut with a reverberated and liberating atmosphere, the drums and bass take you to the climax while the drums hold you firmly in a slow but continuous step.

"Moderna & Theus Mago - Dog Is Calling You" will be available on platforms starting from July 14th.

Ademarr returns to Roam Recordings with Mexican compatriot Joseeph for the Jango Mango EP. The original Jango Mango is an eerie and trippy offering that moves deftly through the dark. Up first on remixes is Darlyn Vlys who delivers a peak time jam with his signature style that he's been showing on labels such as Correspondant, Dust & Blood, and his own imprint Polaris. Iñigo Vontier 's rendition of Jango Mango pushes deeper into psychedelic after party territory. The EP rounds out with the original Olin which moves quirky synths through a low slung atmosphere.

Based in Nancy, Brasserie de Clémery draws its inspiration from both German brewing traditions and the organoleptic revolution of the craft brewing movement. All their beers are brewed and produced on site, with an emphasis on human scale, quality and short supply chains. They see tradition as a fundamental foundation, and experimentation as a necessary pleasure. And it works: in April 2023, one of their beers was named best beer in the world

On Friday 8th September Morocco was struck by the strongest earthquake on record for over a century. Hitting the High Atlas mountains, around 70 kilometres southwest of Marrakesh, the 6.8 magnitude quake has killed over 3000 people and impacted the lives of over 300,000 more.

As a way to raise funds for families and communities impacted by the disaster, we’ve rallied friends together for ‘Tadamoun: A Compilation for Moroccan Earthquake Relief’.

Compiled in collaboration with Geneva-based DJ and producer Reda Saiarh, the release features 24 tracks contributed by artists from across Europe, including Anatolian Weapons, Romain FX, Justine Forever, Cornelius Doctor, Zaatar and more. Musically it travels across many sounds and styles too, from ambient electronica, trip hop and leftfield bass to chugging Italo, jackin’ new beat and trippy techno.

All proceeds will be split 50/50 between two charities who are helping to raise money for those affected and to rebuild communities that have been devastated: Atlas Kinder, a charity who supports abandoned children in Morocco, and Insaf, a non-profit organisation that protects and supports women and children.

DJ, producer and compilation curator Reda Saiarh: “‘Tadamoun’ means Solidarity in Arabic - my mother instantly suggested this word as the title of the release. Following the events [in Morocco], I wanted to help in a way that brought many talents and friends together. Artists from different countries around the world showed their appreciation to Morocco and its population in a moment of communion. In response to tragedy, music is the answer - I encourage you to help and share by purchasing this various artists' compilation. A list of charities is available for anyone who wants to donate or help directly, and we also suggest you listen to other compilations that are helping the same cause including these from Astro Fever International and ZNZL.

I'm really thankful to all the artists on the compilation for contributing their brilliant music for such a great cause. It means a lot to make a fusion of worldwide artists and especially friends, including the Hard Fist Crew, Neskeh and Romain FX, as well as Rosie for her outstanding coordination behind the scenes. My sister has also been really involved, collecting donations and resources for families who are affected. This was a family affair from the beginning - thanks to Ransom Note for making it happen!”

It is characterised by the exceptional qualities and unique elements of their musical alter egos, Radial Gaze (Andrey) and A-Tweed (Antonio). Logical's third vinyl release showcases an intriguing blend of Eastern-inspired disco goa vibes, complemented by powerful acid-infused
tribal-techno sounds. The album also includes two club remixes by label honcho Mike Sacchetti and Lisbon based vocalist and producer Anastasia Zems.

Ike Yard is an experimental post punk/no wave band founded in 1980 in New York.
They recorded for labels like Disques du Crépuscule and Factory in the early 1980s. Their sound is a crazy mix between early krautrock and dub-influenced post-punk and along the years they increasingly incorporated drum machines and analog electronics.

This is my personal weird dancefloor reinterpretation of the track "Loss" originally released on Factory Records in 1982.
