Ep. 45 - Fractalfest 2023 FutureFi Minimix - SubRoot

The World Of The Soul album symbolizes a person's spiritual journey through four transformative stages.
"Rising Sun" represents the initial awakening, the realization that our existence extends beyond the physical body. This marks the beginning of a deeper understanding of self and consciousness.

Following this, "Vibration Nation" signifies the recognition that the universe is in constant motion and everything is in a state of vibration. It reflects the understanding that we are not just individual waves but the entire ocean of existence.

Next, "Word of the Soul" marks the stage where the traveler reaches the limits of human comprehension, shedding worldly illusions and entering a realm of deeper truth. This represents a profound shift in perception and understanding.

Finally, "Natural State" is the stage where the traveler realizes their true essence, returns to their center, and frees themselves from the constraints of personality. It signifies the culmination of the spiritual journey and the attainment of true self-awareness.

'World Of The Soul' invites listeners to explore these stages of self-discovery and the interconnected rhythms of existence.

Rising Sun

The mantra "Om Bhur Bhuvah Svah" is a powerful and sacred invocation found in ancient Vedic texts, particularly the Gayatri Mantra. It is considered a bija (seed) mantra, encapsulating the essence of the universe and its interconnectedness. Here's a breakdown of its meaning and significance:

Jaala has got to be one of the most authentic up and coming psydub artists to come out of the UK in a while! We are very lucky to have him here in Bristol! He was meant to play his first ever live set at our third anniversary party but of course it was cancelled due to the virus. Instead we did a live stream to mark the event and he recorded his set from that!

Modifyre 2020 - Our very first virtual burn 🔥 🔥 🔥

Was lucky enough to play a set for The Wonky Queenslander Theme Camp and have it live streamed out to the cyber paddock!

A full circle moment considering I had my very first glimpse into the realm of performance at Modifyre just a few years ago, I found myself up late surrounded by a handful of friends and an extensive selection of vinyl in the Last Drinks Caravan at Sunset Ducks and couldn't resist the temptation to play

In that moment I understood what all the hype was about, the connection felt as we danced and sang along together to songs so close to my heart, it lit a spark within me and has led me directly to this moment in time.

Feeling fortunate to be part of a community that inspires, supports and encourages creative escapades proving time and time again that we are limited only by our imagination!
