This live set could also just be called "Music For Mushrooms". It's how it was made, and it's definitely how I recommend listening (and possibly the only way to tolerate it, who knows). First new "electronic" set in about... checks ... four years??? Wow, is that the time already? Anyway, well, it features some new spoken pieces, some older spoken pieces, and the music is completely freshly jammed out with my new setup (based, as ever, around my beloved bass guitar and about a million pedals). It was originally intended as a demo live set revisiting "The Refuge" project - if you remember that - keeping beats stripped and simple, and guitars raging, but with a more pronounced UK (old-school) underground flavour and electronica influence, but kinda ended up something in-between. It's not perfect, but honestly that's what I kinda like about it. Who knows where (else) this trip is going...

btw I'm actually serious: both making and listening, I've tried both, and it's a different experience with a more 'open' mind and some feckin' loud speakers and Goom or some other cool visualizer goin'. On the tram with cheap headphones during rush hour might not work, I dunno, you've been warned. Let me know.

TRIGGER WARNING: Like all my material, the real world is mentioned, without filters, sugar-coating, avoiding elephants or giving two flaps about white fragility (especially the local version). It's not pretty. Be prepared. Or go listen to real techno.
