About:
Argentine-born, Barcelona-based producer Martin Cozar returns to Kiosk ID with his four-tracker ‘My Mind.’ Building on the funky modernism of Resilience—his split EP with Gespona—and a commanding peak-time remix for Manucho’s Idea Reset, Martin Cozar now steps fully into the spotlight with a solo EP that tightens his artistic identity. My Mind delivers razor-sharp groove work, stripped futurism, and a captivating brand of dancefloor energy that shines through inventiveness and viscerality.

Opening track ‘1977’ unfolds like a widescreen dreamscape, with suspended fields of synths arcing over a warmly booming, long-tailed sub-bass. Heaving synth sweeps, melodically intricate arpeggios, and fluttering square waves paint a morphing, hypnotic canvas that floats across the periphery. Deeply meditative, but suited for the almost-peak-time with a throbbing groove and dynamic sub-bass, 1977 is a slow-burning journey that wraps warmly arcing, spaced out melodics around a tight rhythmic core.

‘My Mind’ turns the focus to the floor. Funky and razor-sharp in its sophisticated modernity with stripped-to-the-bone drum structures, the title track channels Martin Cozar’s retro-futurist edge through ominously
squelching basslines and pulsing stabs, arranged in a spacious, expertly crafted, and darkly oscillating Indie Dance framework. Every element clicks into place, yielding a high-voltage groove that radiates raw, physical
energy: stripped-down machine funk with a dark, circuit-bent twist.

With ‘Niksen,’ Martin Cozar crafts an eclectic groover that cycles effortlessly through percussive moods. Crackling with icy atmospherics one moment and sweltering in hazy Western guitars the next, Niksen traverses shifting textures anchored in a stripped lead theme that transforms the tracks’ dynamic soundscapes into pure dancefloor class.

Closing cut ‘Lights Out’ dives into grungier, more tactile territory. Shuffling, blown-out acoustic drums and mangled guitars collide with a peevish lead synth that escalates through morphing iterations, finally exploding into bursts of erupting electricity. Raw and groove-heavy, Lights Out channels untethered energy into a gritty, kinetic framework—tech’n’roll with a beautifully organic feel.

Across ‘My Mind,’ Martin Cozar delivers four distinct tracks—each a self-contained microcosm of motion across gritty floor energy, razor-sharp Indie Dance, and booming after-hour rollers. The result is a hypnotic,
meticulously engineered suite that feels both instinctive and deliberate, and succeeds in walking the fine line between the physical and cerebral demands of the dancefloor.

Robot Bennett – “Book me before I die”

How many people do you know who take up DJing in their late 60s?  And how many are actually really good? The answer is one – Robot Bennett.

The Robot is a wonderful, incredible anomaly. His love of electronic music stretches back to the early 90’s, when he tasted first hand the fabled golden era of techno clubs in Berlin where he has lived since 1982. He was at the Loveparade. He danced in the warehouses and basements, revelled at the festivals, and absorbed all of this influence from one side of the equation.

A lifelong musician, he balanced his passion alongside a career as a body therapist and yoga teacher. During a group breath work session he was playing one of his own techno mixes and a club booker just happened to be part of the group. The booker was so impressed by Robot's mix that he suggested he try his hand at DJ'ing. It was the spark that lit the bonfire.

Robot Bennett uses Ableton Live with an APC 40 Mk II controller for DJ'ing.

He plays hard techno – a dark and sometimes ominous sound interspersed with some lighter tunes and the occasional vintage track.

Robot Bennett also plays 60’s and early 70’s classic psychedelic rock. He has enjoyed playing the music of his youth at Nation of Gondwana, Hans & Gloria, Mensch Meier, Rummelsbucht, Bucht der Träumer and at New Years parties in Sisyphos.

> Bio: Berlin-based Nat Wendell, a seasoned DJ and producer with a profound connection to his core sound, is one of house music’s true exponents. 

Uniquely his, Nat has left an indelible mark on a world of electronic music so often bereft of the essence of groove—the same groove that now regularly sparks the dynamic atmosphere of venues like Berghain/Panorama Bar and Heideglühen in Berlin. His mission, since 1998, has been the same: to captivate audiences with his unmistakable sense of swing. 

His musical upbringing in the melting pot of cultures that is London has been the catalyst for his sonic identity, and his very first record purchase, "Snap - The Power," proved to be a powerful harbinger of things to come.  Immersed in the diverse Caribbean culture, with its roots in gospel, dancehall and soul, he developed a keen appreciation for the rhythmic intricacies of records. The influence of London's soundsystem culture is evident in his signature garage groove, though so too is the pulse of New York's 90’s house culture—from its intricate tempo to its powerful soul.

A move to Berlin in the 2010s saw releases on essential labels like Courtesy of Balance, thisisnegentropy, King Street Sounds, as well as his very own Depths of My Soul. His output has kept up pace with his gigs, and so too has his sound: on the dancefloor, Nat’s penchant for snapping grooves and desire to connect with the audience on a deeper level become an invitation to embrace the moment, surrender to the rhythm, and experience the magic of the dancefloor.

Nat Wendell continues to evolve into a maestro of sound, crafting a unique sonic journey that is deep, soulful, and undeniably groovy. That his music is now taking him worldwide, from the celebrated Fusion Festival to the hallowed floors of his very own inspiration, New York City, is a testament to the fact that his sense of swing has, and will, withstand the test of time.
