Some Chemistry lived 10 years of his life in Africa and South America. The experience during these years with different cultures and also music wise brought the rhythm in his system.  At the age of 14 he sharpened his sense for melodies and harmony playing as a (bass) guitarist in several indie/punk/rock bands. These days, his electronic productions sound similar to his personality: warm and colorful. ‘The feel’ of music is more important than the quality of the kick, he says. He likes to compare his music with the experience of eating a mango.

San Francisco three-piece live band PillowTalk, the guys who manipulate pop melodies, classic R&B, soul and boogie into the loose rhythms of house music have joined forces with Thugfucker on their latest album "Je Ne Sais Quoi". Home Sick is a poppy, warm groover that gets the blood flowing and your hips wiggling. 

PillowTalk can be seen playing live at the Crew Love stage during the highly anticipated DGTL Festival on Easter weekend (19+20 April). This tune will surely warm the hearts of its visitors. Just a few more weeks before before it's time to party at this epic festival.

Here we go with our very first exclusive premiere and we've got a corker to get things rolling. Venezuelan duo Fur Coat have kindly given us the first play of the title track from their forthcoming EP 'There's No Time', which is coming out on Jamie Jones' ever popular Hot Creations label.

This new track is a perfect example of their love affair with the sleazier side of house music, razor sharp synth lines cascade over a hefty set of percussion and a rumbling, morose b-line while a pitched-down, barely audible vocal lurks in the background. Hot stuff we're sure you'll agree. You can get your copy of the cut from the 31st of March.

Now finally Maxime and Marques have reunited for a new EP on Exploited, 'Magical Shoes', and the results are everything we could have hoped for. 

Having delivered two huge club hits in 2014 with ’Radio Atlantis’ and ’O Cypres’, Belgian star Compuphonic returns this February with his third EP for Exploited, ‘Magical Shoes’. 2 tracks of sublime House music, the ‘Magical Shoes’ EP sees Compuphonic finally reunited with the Beyoncé approved American singer Marques Toliver, whose vocals previously graced Maxime’s 2012 breakout hit ’Sunset’.

Once again this Transatlantic pairing have struck gold as Compuphonic’s distinctive brand of deeply emotional, nuanced, House Music provides the perfect setting for Marques’ plaintive vocals. With it’s distinctive Korg M1 organ and shuffling beats ‘Magical Shoes’ instantly brings to mind legendary ‘90s New York clubs like The Sound Factory but thanks to Compuphonic’s production skills it goes well beyond that of simple period pastiche and sounds utterly fresh for 2015, a bonafide club hit that is already peppering the sets of DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Tensnake and The Magician.

As the title suggests the EP’s 2nd track ‘The Sun Does Rise’ is the natural successor to the duo’s previous outing. As deep as the Pacific Ocean this is a trance inducing hymn to hope, music designed to elevate the soul as much as move the body and bring some much needed warmth back to clubland. Expect to hear this played everywhere and anywhere this year where the party goes through the night and the first morning light breaks over the dancefloor.

As always Kling Klong gives space for new artists and supports upcoming talents. This time Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold had no doubts signing this debut release from Stuttgart's dj/producer Ninetoes as 'Finder' is obviously a massive stand-out track which has the words 'summer hit' written all over it. So it was just easy to convince Leon and Re-UP from Italy to do the remixes and help to make this release even more oustanding.
