Mayweather is a five-piece Rock band from Adelaide, South Australia.

The band formed in December 2011 and by March 2012 they locked in their first local support with Horsell Common. They went on to support Trial Kennedy on their ‘Final Australian Tour’ and 28 Days on their 10 year Anniversary ‘Upstyledown Australian Tour’.

In April 2013 the band released their debut EP ‘Old Guns’ and a music video for the opening track ‘The Midnight Flight’. It received over 1000 hits in the first 24 hours and was nominated for Best Rock Song in the 2013 Australian Independent Music Awards in Sydney.

In July 2014 they released their second EP ‘Take Back Everything’. With recent plays on Triple J’s Short Fast Loud and local radio the EP is a reflection of the bands desire to literally take it all back to the basics and play raw, honest and true music from the heart.

In December they supported The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (USA) & Hawthorne Heights (USA) on their Australian Tour and most recently supported Funeral For A Friend (UK) on their sold out show at Fowlers Live Adelaide.
