The artistic resonance between Simon Petrikov (@mrpetrikov) and Sacha Syntax finds its way in the rework of “Lacuna”. Born as a dark ambient work, Lacuna was remixed by Simon Petrikov blending Sacha’s soundscape with an ever-evolving downtempo beat. Lacuna, Sacha Syntax’s experimental noise project, explores the fringes of digital sound: collapsing structures, fragmented sonic remnants and ghostly panoramas that hint at realities impossible to fully reconstruct

Simon Petrikov is an Italian electronic music producer and DJ whose sonic explorations began in 2012, driven by a deep need to translate his inner world into sound and by an unexpected yet necessary artistic awakening.
Simon’s creative process is rooted in field recording, sample manipulation, and live improvisation, primarily using Ableton Live and an Elektron Octatrack. His music is a blend of ambient textures, glitchy rhythms, and emotional depth.
