Continuing a strong summer season, Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint welcomes Nhar back to the label for his debut EP. With a career that now stretches the better part of two decades, French artist Bernhard Siefert aka Nhar has showcased his deep and atmospheric sound via Jennifer Cardini's Correspondant, Azzur, Darkroom Dubs, Mobilee Records, Seven Villas and more. Also highly regarded as a live performer and DJ, Nhar has continued to travel the world, captivating crowds with his elusive brand of mesmerizing electronic music. Having made his Sound Avenue debut in June with a well received remix of ‘Turmeric Latte' by Madloch, Sudnode and Pedro Capelossi, Nhar now returns to the label for a two-track showcase entitled ‘Nocturne Océanique'. 

With a whimsical flair, it is the title selection ‘Nocturne Océanique' which sets the tone for the release. Warm, voluptuous basslines lay the foundation for panoramic arps and hazy harmonics to work their magic. Fluttery percussive arrangements maintain a buoyant cadence, while timely chord changes move from esoteric to emotive leading into the break. Masterfully constructed, the interlude delights with its hypnagogic synth-scapes and nostalgic phrasing, eventually giving way for multi-coloured clusters and delicate tonal themes to take us into a spirited finale. 

The spellbinding 'Vision De Rivages' further cements Nhar's elusive vision, as a fluid rhythmic core gets complemented with polychromatic arps and rolling bass tones. A joyous exchange of melody and texture where themes of connectedness and hope get translated by spectral vocal fragments, kaleidoscopic motifs and nostalgic chord changes. Designed for a broad range of dance floors and headphone afficionados alike, its feel-good nature concludes a character rich two-track showcase from one of France's long running musical mavericks.

We are delighted with this, primarily melodic and progressive release, which consists of two wonderful tracks and a great remix by one of our favorite progressive artists, Subandrio!
Surely "Horizons" EP will be on the radar of all those who adore progressive house through which infectious trance melodies permeate!

Ian Daniels returns with Lightwaves EP, a deep and immersive journey through warm, dreamy, and timeless electronic soundscapes. Released on the obscure underground label Modern Nostalgia, this four-track EP showcases Daniels' signature blend of deep house, broken beat, and ambient textures-rooted in a rich history of underground electronic music stretching back to the early 2000s.

The title track, Lightwaves, sets the tone with uplifting, Detroit-influenced deep house grooves, while Space Age takes listeners on a trippy, techy, and chunky sonic excursion. Bump The Tempo shifts gears into an atmospheric broken beat territory, carrying a timeless quality that defines much of Daniels' work. Closing the EP, Astral Projection drifts into an ambient dreamscape, offering a laid-back and introspective finale.

'Northern Lights' is a beautiful warm vibed gem, that oozes quality and coolness, as subtle layers merge effortless, as intricate melodies float over washes of warm, underpinned by a subby bass that adds depth.

'Glacier Meadows' continues the dreamy story, as this restrained and sophisticated first half of the tracks lulls you in, before a filthy kick in with growly bass and emotional melodies will take the roof off. Don't say we didn't warm you!
