＊By the way, it's Ray, not me, who makes the chord backing that takes the rhythm with the wah pedal, the thick chord stroke with the flanger, and the pick scratch that rubs the wound strings with the pick.  Please listen to Ray's work and check it out.  From the beginning, Ray brought a sound that wasn't normally "suitable" for this piece.  The charm of this free and open work is exactly what Ray created.

Over the last few months, we have been exposed to a lot of media coverage. A man who lived and worked with his family in Poland returned to his hometown of Lviv with his family. "I can't stand to see the destroyed city anymore. I want to regain the beautiful Ukraine," he said. "It's a beautiful country, Ukraine," said one woman proudly. She said, "It has been destroyed and polluted, but we will definitely regain beautiful Ukraine."

When the Ukrainian people talk about "Ukraine, a beautiful country", there is a vast sky and land. As I watch the news of the tragedy, I find that we are more encouraged by the strength of the people who are ready to rebuild the country.

Initially, I was planning to work on another work by Ray, but when I listened to this song again, I noticed that "the sky" appeared in the refrain part. I know the lyrics of this piece deal with a different theme, but as I hummed the refrain, I felt that it could be a "fighting song" for me to move forward with the Ukrainian people. .. The target of support is the Ukrainian people, and I myself. I secretly thought that I wanted to make it one of the "cheer songs" for everyone, who are struck by this unreasonable invasion. And I decided to put my guitar on this song.

In addition, "Lillithe / Paploviante", including the sound source that Ray seems to have used in this work, should be called our great pioneer in that field as well. They have produced a huge collection of works using Vocals' Audio-Samples as the theme. At that time, I would like to note that they are experts who have mastered the source and lyrics of Samples by clearly stating them each time. The creators who inherit the method will be able to learn from the various usages of Samples to the usage rules by keeping in mind the reference of the works they have accumulated. It will be a great ally for each successor as they open up the future beyond SoundCloud.

Their enormous collection of works teaches us a lot. I would like to express my deep gratitude to them again for that.

Jeanne d'Arc (1412 - 30 mai 1431) est considérée comme une héroïne de la France pour son rôle dans le siège d'Orléans et le couronnement de Charles VII de France pendant la guerre de Cent Ans contre l'Angleterre. Après avoir mené avec succès plusieurs actions militaires françaises, elle a été capturée, remise aux autorités anglaises, condamnée comme hérétique et brûlée sur le bûcher en 1431. Vingt-cinq ans plus tard, sa condamnation a été formellement annulée. Près de 500 ans après sa mort, elle a été canonisée comme sainte par l'Église catholique romaine.
Joan of Arc ( 1412 – 30 May 1431) is considered a heroine of France for her role in the siege of Orléans and the coronation of Charles VII of France during the Hundred Years' War against England. After successfully leading several French military actions, she was captured, handed over to English authorities, convicted as a heretic, and burnt at the stake in 1431. Twenty-five years later, her conviction was formally overturned. Nearly 500 years after her death, she was canonized as a saint by the Roman Catholic Church.

Good afternoon my SC friends. This year, I thought it might be fun to share some of the brain rebooting information I’ve discovered over the years that helped me navigate life a little easier. So if you like the idea of following along with these liner notes, you’ll want to watch this video first (about 1 minute... Selective Attention Test video: https://youtu.be/vJG698U2Mvo), before you continue reading down. It’s quite challenging to get the count right, but the results are utterly fascinating. :)

Welcome back. So, if you haven’t already seen it before, you just watched a video that brilliantly demonstrates our limited capacity as observers. I admit, I was so busy counting the passing ball… I totally missed the gorilla. Most of my family missed it as well. And according to the creators of the video, at least 50% of the audience will. That’s mind blowing.

So what does that say about our perceptions? It seems to suggest we’re not as aware as we think we are. And that is a lovely thought, because it means we don’t have to be so hard on ourselves when we misperceive things. We are literally incapable of taking it all in, and therefore we don’t always have the full picture (or even the same picture as our fellow traveller).

And that just demonstrates the limits of our mental awareness. Now consider our senses for a moment… how our hearing range is limited to a range of 20Hz to 20kHz. Think about how our vision doesn’t go below the ultraviolet or above the infrared. And I know I can’t smell things to the excellent degree my family’s pets can. 

The one that really blows my mind is that we aren’t ever physically touching anything. There is always an atomic amount of space between all objects. So when I sit down in a chair, what’s really happening is the molecular particles that collectively agreed to make up my butt are interacting with the molecular particles that collectively agreed to make up that chair; and the signals are all just electrical stimuli to my brain. I believe I can feel the smoothness of the polished woodgrain… but it isn’t a full or accurate story.

So now we have an idea of the limitations of our five senses. Add to that how we are limited to those five senses in the first place (unless some of you have physically developed sonar like a bat or have the ability to create an external multi-member neural network like fungi do underground), and you start to have a better idea just how much of the picture we are missing. 

So in a nutshell, we simply don’t have the full picture; and that can be a very liberating realization. That idea gave me the wisdom I needed to release my stranglehold on being a perfectionist… just a little bit. If I’m constantly missing things I don’t even know I’m missing, perfection isn’t even an option. I can also take these ideas out into the world with me, and realize we really don’t perceive things as similarly as we think we do. We are constantly being influenced by everything from our senses and mental awareness to cognitive dissonance and the bias of preference. We are each having different experiences, and that underlying realization is a great place to start, if change be the thing we desire. :)
