The Anthony Paule Soul Orchestra, eight pieces of soul-blues musical genius, has been mesmerizing West Coast audiences since 2011. Two CDs released in 2013, You Don’t Know Nothing and Soul For Your Blues earned the band two Blues Music Award nominations, and an acclaimed show-stopping performance at the prestigious awards ceremony. All this well deserved attention has paved the way for two International tours during the summer of 2014. June 2015, saw the release of their third CD, Not Goin’ Away. It’s receiving much critical acclaim, including reaching the #3 spot on the Living Blues Magazine radio charts for July. This release combined with a successful tour of Europe and The Canary Islands has put the band on an upward trajectory! Frank Bey’s hypnotic vocals and Paule’s lofty guitar playing, keep their band on a shelf all by itself. However, if comparisons need to be made, they would be likened to Bobby Bland, B.B. King, Ray Charles, and Otis Redding.

2017 marks the orchestra's forth release, After A While. For this recording Anthony has teamed up with soul legend Wee Willie Walker. The 13 tracks on this CD include 8 freshly penned originals along with 5 carefully selected covers. Willie is a soul man's soul man, who has been enjoying a resurgence in his career. One listen to his vocals on After A While and you'll understand why Willie and The Anthony Paule Soul Orchestra are rapidly becoming favorites on the festival circuit.

Anthony Paule has been a driving force of the Bay Area music scene for many years and has previously released two solo CDs. In addition to fronting is own band, he’s toured and recorded with Boz Scaggs, Charlie Musselwhite, Bo Diddley, Maria Muldaur, Barbara Lynn, Norton Buffalo, The Johnny Nocturne Band, Mark Hummel, and others. The release of the two CDs with Frank Bey, “You Don’t Know Nothing” and “Soul For Your Blues” finds Paule in his element, in full stride with this eight piece soul band... backing up a fine singer.
