Set in a stark motel room at the edge of the Mojave Desert, Sam Shepard's "Fool for Love" tells the story of troubled lovers Eddie and May.  Before May, though Eddie was with the Countess, and she hasn't taken too kindly to his change of heart.

As part of her revenge she crashes her car into his parked truck and horse trailer, causing an explosion and freeing the horses.
