October 1st was the 13th ElectronicAfternoonOpenAir party of our friends from Rhytmustherapie. This set was performed by M.A.R.C. with progressive, 80ies underground, techno and disco tech tracks. It was great to see the crowd dancing again and we are very happy to have been part of it.

WMD - WEAPONS OF MIND DESTRUCTION - WAKE UP

Here is finally the live set from M.A.R.C. at our first SCHALLWELLEN party at Club Bubbles. SCHALLWELLEN is the underground party for our LGTBQ+ community and friends of electronic music. At SCHALLWELLEN you hear always progressive, deep and tech. But at these parties M.A.R.C. always builds electronic sounds from the 80ies into his sets. We were surprised how well that run and about the positive feedback. This set captured this sound. It starts with a special version of Relax, stays for a while in progressive and goes after 45 minutes into the 80s. Thank a lot to everyone who joined the party and made it to a a very special event. Have fun to listening, remembering and hopefully we can party together again, soon.

Anthony Velarde’s sound is a reflection of the times—hypnotic, emotional, and deeply moving. His music speaks to both the mind and the body, driven by pulsating beats and atmospheric melodies that pull listeners in and don’t let go.

A true student of the scene, Anthony’s roots trace back to the early '90s, growing up amidst the legendary energy of NYC’s underground. From the raw chaos of The Tunnel and Limelight to the transcendent nights at Twilo between 1998 and 2001, those iconic dance floors shaped him into the artist he is today.

With tribal rhythms in his blood and a B-boy spirit from the streets of New York, Anthony Velarde developed a style uniquely his own—rhythmic, soulful, and unmistakably underground. Over the years, he’s earned the respect of the scene and built a loyal following through his deep, thoughtfully crafted mixes and original productions.

Though retired from playing out live, Anthony continues to share his passion through mixes and releases—his purest way of staying connected to the culture and community that built him.
