Born in Libreville, Gabon, Emmanuel has grown from a curious child in an apartment complex in Ottawa, ON, to a flourishing musician and multifaceted artist in the suburbs of Northern Virginia. From an early age, music wasn’t just a hobby — it was a language, a way to make sense of the world and express the parts of himself words alone couldn’t capture.

With two albums already under his belt, Emmanuel, formerly known by his stage name Skytlz, is entering a new era of artistic evolution. His upcoming project, Blackout, is his most personal and ambitious body of work to date — an unfiltered exploration of his complex relationship with music, identity, and the world around him. The journey begins with his upcoming SoundCloud-exclusive single, Who Feels, which flips the hauntingly introspective “a good man with a broken heart” by LoVibe into something entirely his own.
