Info: Take Your Time – EP is a five-track showcase of bass-heavy versatility from New
Zealand’s Unwell, blending UK bass, garage, 2-step, and jungle; it moves from
shimmering grooves to peak-time club pressure — built to work in any setting, from
the rave to the lounge.
Produced in Wellington, the EP opens with the title track Take Your Time, a
shimmering, swing-heavy garage cut, followed by two distinctive remixes: producers
Joku deliver a forward-moving flip, while Ukrainian artist Lostlojic adds a smoky,
atmospheric edge.
Disco Take switches gears with a playful jungle-meets-disco fusion, before Tamaki
Makaurau based AndWahn closes the EP with a driving club remix built for peak-time
energy.

Released on Washington’s Sound Transitions, Take Your Time – EP is a cross-
continental journey in groove; born in Wellington but shaped by influences and talents

Jonna has released notable music on Lumberjacks in Hell, BBE, Shadeleaf Music, Flat White Records and his own imprint City Fly Records which has gained support from the likes of BBC 6 Music, Mr Scruff, Jimpster and Derrick Carter. His last release 'Jus Move' featuring Javonntte with Marcellus Pittman & SoulPhiction (RIP) Remixes was featured in Juno Records Top 10 'Best Deep House Records’ of the year and was ‘Release Of The Day’ on Resident Advisor.

Recently, Jonna has been concentrating on his music promo service ‘Unveil PR’ and starting a family but is still an avid record collector and selector spanning many genres of the musical spectrum.

Mientras Arcade Apocalypse dibuja la distopía cromada de su Virtual Facade EP, “Perspective” llega como el corte que afila el ángulo: bajo elástico, percusiones secas y un pulso que bascula entre el downtempo narcótico y el indie dance en tensión. Aquí no hay nostalgia gratuita: el fraseo rítmico y los stabs sintéticos replantean la tradición EBM/New Beat con una producción quirúrgica, más cercana a la cámara anecoica que a la fábrica humeante. El resultado es hipnótico y físico, perfecto para abrir un warm-up con malicia o ensuciar el peak con un giro oscuro. El EP llega vía FenixFire Records el 7 de noviembre de 2025.

En el marco del lanzamiento —cuatro cortes, incluida la toma titular en dos versiones— “Perspective” funciona como el tercer vértice del triángulo: conecta los guiños a los “roots” de la EBM con un diseño sonoro que empuja hacia delante, tal y como subraya la propia nota de prensa del sello.
