Antihero, a 24-year-old DJ and producer from Ostrava, has been involved in DJing since 2018, operating on the edge of deep sound with tempos from 140 to 175 BPM. He has played over a hundred gigs across the Czech Republic, including prestigious parties such as Beats for Love, Soldout Festival, and clubs like Fabric, Storm, and Cross. Thanks to his wide and diverse selection, he can tailor his set to the time and type of event, ranging from melodic soulful tracks to dark deep tunes and 140 bangers. His precise selection and dark atmosphere are guaranteed to captivate even the most discerning listener. In addition to DJing, he is also engaged in his own production, which has seen success with the release of a track under the Sinful Maze Recordings label.

NBC9 released his second full-length album State of Control on September 19, 2025, a record that defines his cinematic, bass-driven take on drum and bass. The album follows his 2024 return and marks a key milestone in a journey that has reestablished him as a progressive force in the genre.

This December, he delivers Fragments 2.0, a major follow-up to the original Fragments project. The new release features remixes from @user-449697299, @Psidream, @quoonemusic, @Omneum, @brukout_ca, @iconsdnb, the-mind-hackers, @djNORTY, @YASUKI1214, @d0shi-music, and @diodeofficial— each reinterpreting tracks from State of Control through their own lens, spanning deep, dark, and high-energy variations of drum and bass. Like its predecessor, which showcased Exile, YASUKI, Xtinctor, Lunatronic, AGRO, Irontype, and JRace & Albert White, Fragments 2.0 continues NBC9’s vision of connecting global artists through shared sonic experimentation.

As the head of Embassy 9 Recordings, NBC9 has created a home for his own output as well as a space for collaborators to explore forward-thinking drum and bass. His productions are designed with a dual purpose: to resonate in personal listening settings and to hit with power on dancefloors.

Before his return to drum and bass, NBC9 built an underground reputation under the name Influenza in the early 2000s nu skool breakbeat scene. Releases on Pure Funk, Illeven Eleven, Sponge, and Epidemic reached audiences across North America and the UK, with his music played in iconic venues such as Fabric London.

Two decades on, NBC9 stands with more clarity and intent than ever, blending experience with innovation to drive a sound that continues to evolve.
