The world of noon would be the most captivating expedition on which they had embarked yet. The sun shone for twenty four continuous hours, day and night were at one. This was a place with no darkness, simply endless, enchanting daylight. The voyage might last them a lifetime, they would sail across the galaxies, until they reached the world of noon.
Khidja are seemingly unstoppable at present. Following a string of releases for Love On The Rocks, Malka Tuti, Bahnsteig 23 and more they have decided to launch their own label alongside Borusiade, The Holy Fix and Utopus.

Last years SVS residency took place in Budapest at 4DSOUND's "Spatial Sound Institute", where SVS artists from LA, NY, Osaka, Seoul, Berlin, London,Tel Aviv and Munich worked for 10 days preparing a showcase on the 4DSOUND system.
During rehersals for the Showcase, Beni Brachtel alias Bartellow (Tambien from Public Possession fame) met Gr◯un⼟ alias Daichi Furukawa for the first time in the Studio. Three tracks just appeared out of nowhere. Not a single obstacle in the way of the production. During three long nightshifts, the tracks emerged out of a continuous great vibe. Always joined by several artists from the SVS family, it became the soundtrack for a very special event. Beni San and Daichi San will play a release tour through Japan in April.

Next up on fresh, percussion-loving Canadian label, Breathing Room Records, is the Aquarius EP. It comes from a relative newcomer in Bixi, the new alias for Basel, Switzerland-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Lokke aka Modern Trash Quartett. The output for Bixi will be home to more sample & house-oriented tracks while Lokke will continue to lean more towards the downtempo and jazzy end of the spectrum.Best known for his smooth 7” releases on Amsterdam’s INI Movement,  Berlin’s Beatbude and Cologne/Berlin’sLaut & Luise, this time the German producer takes us on a warm and tropical excursion for his first 12” release. Aquarius instantly brings us Southward with a groovy rhythm, bird calls and a fluttering flute that transport you beachside. Rounding out the A side is Bicho De Pé, a deeper number with a brooding melody, thundering bass and textured atmospheres. On the flip, Cosmic Water is the most dancefloor friendly excursion with swelling synths, a hard hitting low end and a combination of both expertly sampled and finely performed parts. Continuing the trip into the tropics is Ryu Santos with its deep jungle-inspired leanings and percussive workout. Closing out the record is Bunga Bunga, a sensual cut to close your eyes and get lost in. The Aquarius EP is a medley of deft live instrumentation such as Rhodes keys, bass and percussion all mixed in with an adept use of samples. Additional percussion performed by Florian König. Artwork for the record is once again expertly curated by 3D and visual artist Maks Pihs, perfectly matching the theme of the release.

PREMIERE : Bixi - Ryu Santos

Budabeats Records' next release is built around the psychedelic shaman music of Hungarian self thought folk musician, Vajk Kobza.  On this link you can hear a remix done by Multi Culti co-pilot, Dreems, who revisited one of the most well known Hungarian folk songs creating a uniquely interesting piece with dub-ish subs and the twisted main melody.
