 Malibu is the second album from Oxnard, California-based rapper and singerAnderson Paak. Scheduled for release on January 15, 2016 via Steel Wool, OBE, Art Club & EMPIRE,[3] the album comes directly on the heels of the Link Up & Suede EP, Paak's collaborative EP with producer Knxwledge as duo NxWorries, released on December 4, 2015, through Stones Throw Records.[4]This album is in the aftermath of Paak's rise to stardom as a main feature on Dr. Dre's Compton, where he was prominently featured on six songs, including "Animals", a song that was originally Paak's that Dre took to put on the album.

The album features the singles The Season / Carry Me, the Schoolboy Q-featuring disco-influenced track Am I Wrong, and Room in Here featuring vocals from Sonyae Elise and a verse from The Game.

On June 25th, 2017, we'll be celebrating our 250th party. To commemorate the occasion, we're releasing a mix and compilation by Mister founders and resident DJs Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin. It's called Mister Saturday Night, Then and Now.  

This is the lead track, a languid, joy-filled Ethiopian jazz song by the great Ethiopian vocalist, Menelik Wossenatchew. It was arranged and written by Mulatu Astatke. 

Mister Saturday Night, Then and Now is distributed by !K7 Records and available as a 3LP compilation and as a CD and on digital on Friday, June 30th.

The B2 to the Recast EP featuring Mike Ink, DJ Guy, & Terrestre aka Murcof released 11/09/2017 on Future Primitive.

A second release for London's Future Primitive Records brings to the fore a new hand-picked selection of hard to find - if not overlooked - tracks from Wolfgang Voigt, DJ Guy and Fernando Corona, aka Murcof. All of the music to feature on this four-track Recast EP was previously subject to tape or CD only release.

Lifted from his only album as Love Inc., Wolfgang Voigt's "Income" sits primo as the A1, holding firm 22 years after its original release. Predating Voigt's work as GAS, its caustic chords, shimmering melodies and chilled 85BPM vibe render it a production borne from the classic dub techno blueprint of the early-to-mid '90s. An early take on "slo-mo" techno.

The cassette tapes of DJ Guy have again been raided, with Future Primitive joining a select cast of followers to rejuvenate the Welshman's productions with an edit that appeared on his tape for Crisis Urbana.

Both B-side tracks "Botas De Oro" and "Secondary Inspection Theme" come from Murcof's one-time Terrestre alias, a project from the early-2000s which fuses textural, slow-motion and minimal house sensibilities with Mexican Banda and NorteNo music - aka Nortec, a micro-sub-genre to come out of Tijuana. Loose percussion, swung drums and winding rhythms are made all the more esoteric through the subversively climactic nature of Terrestre's music.
