MELIMEKO is a Vienna-based DJ who began her journey behind the decks in 2024. With a strong background in dance and music, she has always been deeply connected to sound, rhythm and movement. In her sets, she aims to build a driving, danceable energy, a feeling of going with the music and letting it create and shape the night. Drawing from hypnotic techno and upbeat grooves as her foundation, she blends in melodic, rhythmic, trance or acid elements crafting a unique experience. Antiterra is an indipendent techno label founded by Giri, a Neapolitan producer and dj, in 2020 during the first world wide pandemic. It was born from the necessity of the artist to create a space where freely release his music and experiments in sound design. During the years, Antiterra also hosted external artists such as Wrong Assessment, Translate and Pulso, Divide, Dez aka Random/Noize and others.
The concept of the "Antiterra" is sci-fi idea which speaks about a theorical planet in the Solar System that shares its orbit with the Earth and is constantly eclipsed by the Sun. This feature makes its nature hypothetical and therefore made of countless possibilities. Antiterra as a label takes inspiration from this theory to translate in sound the endless sceneries.
