Thank you thank you thank you for the patience and constant support. Pisces has been in the making since 2022 and has been scrapped and redid a few times before this final mix you’re listening to. Its been a process and i have changed a lot these past 2 years and with all the love from Alchemy that I created along with my brother Jay Cinema, I cant begin to thank you guys enough. If you need an interpretation on this tape just think deception. I will not elaborate; it’s up to the listener to decipher this. You are welcome to your own interpretations because whatever you hear in this tape shows true power within the brains where we are able to put a word to a series of sounds. When i first created the idea of Pisces i was still studying western astrology and never really felt connected to the charts and the style it was done. I've switched to Vedic astrology in 2023 and still continue my studies. There are elements of both western and eastern astrology and my transitioning between the two. Hopefully this brings some clarity into who "Chow" is. In the meantime I'm still cooking! I’m still studying! The mind is always at work here!

(Re)Fixing Bad Habits

Compiled by House Shoes, Love n War is a melodious jaunt through the mind of Los Angeles based producer, reallynathan.  Creations representative of a five-year span, from 2010 to 2015, the tape is a true portrayal of what reallynathan’s music exudes: tension and release.  Whether it’s the ambient production found on “Shine Off”, the more traditional hip hop sound on “Trickery,” or the house influence on tracks such as “imafreak”, the theme remains consistent; a search for freedom from the turmoil within and around us. Love and war.

reallynathan credits his musical style to Bay Area roots, years spent witnessing the growth of the LA beat scene, and his most recent discovery of dance music while residing in NYC.  If the name sounds familiar, it could be from his days DJing and producing for the hip hop trio Late Bloomers (Tres Records, 2011), or his past production for Cashus King fka Co$$. In fact, it was his work on Cashus King’s Instrument of Emotion project that led to his discovery by House Shoes, paving the way for five years of tension filled productions to see a proper release.

Moody Original

The first incarnation of the Cosmos Dwellerz Arkestra was formed in the early 1970's by Sanifu Al Hall. Jr.
His goal was to form a group using available cutting-edge technolgies of the day fusing it into creative musical works.
What would now be called a hybrid group. Along with the quasi-standard Jazz group.
Sanifu made sagacious use of several analoguesynthesizers to forge both ambient and melodic incorporations.
Additionally he used unique signal processing on his trombone for this 1977 session.
