I had the pleasure of meeting the Robot Heart crew in 2014. Their sound crew was looking for extra hands for the burn, and I was eager to learn what it took to run one of the most badass sound systems on the playa. Many friendships were formed since, and countless sunrises spent together doing what we all love. This is one of the hardest working camps out there, and it’s been a blessing to be a part of the team, watching the magic unfold.

It is with great sadness I learned that the Robot Heart founder George Mueller “Geo” left us last week. His passing is felt deep in the hearts of countless of people that were touched by the profound impact of his creation.

To celebrate the life of Geo, I decided to release this set that is near and dear to my heart. It took place in 2016, for the 2nd edition of Further Future Festival. Robot Heart was the centerpiece of this incredible event that the crew produced, and as the luck would have it, I ended up playing the very last set ever played that magical Monday morning. The vibes were absolutely electric, and won’t ever be forgotten <3

As I biked into deep playa looking for the majestic glowing Maxa deer on Friday night, I kept thinking about how I found out that the reason the deer art car is a deer, is because the legend of how the Mexican tribes found peyote goes that a blue glowing deer appeared and showed them the way to the plant. 

This, of course, as it was told to me when I paid a visit to the Maxa camp a year before the 2024 Burn, after biblical rains paralyzed Black Rock City and decimated my dreams of playing on the Maxa deer… at Sunrise. 

Good things are worth the wait and as I took control of the glowing myth and spirit of the magical deer, I was surrounded by the most amazing crowd in the front, around and behind me. 

This is the musical story of that night, my last and highly proud set of Burning Man 2024. Enjoy!

Ese día, junto a Bodaishin, hicimos casi 2 horas de sesión para el camp 2:45 & D junto a Kora, Dexter Crowe, Kalaman, Winson y la familia. Se vibró calidad en todos los aspectos... y cuando eso sucede, cuando ese momento viene a completarnos y darnos vida, la magia sucede y ahí, donde nos sentimos vivos y apreciamos, un poco más, lo linda que es la vida.

Espero disfruten de esta sesión, son nada más y nada menos que nuestras sensaciones.

The Gravity family welcomed us at Burning Man with their hearts beating... It all resolved in warm hugs and laughter.
That day, together with Bodaishin, we played nearly 2 hours for Camp 2:45 & D along with Kora, Dexter Crowe, Kalaman, Winson, and the family. The energy was palpable in every aspect... and when that happens, when that moment comes to complete us and bring us to life, magic happens. And there, where we feel alive and appreciate, a little more, how beautiful life is.

It’s nothing more and nothing less than our feelings.

EPISODE 200: THE LOST TRANSMISSION

The Acid Tourist aka Holmar. A Brooklyn legend, an Icelander, a merry prankster, a sonic alchemist once known as half of Thugfucker, a current member of the Formerly supergroup, and one half of Beauty and the Beast with Phillip Jung.

Episode 200 of Bespoke Musik Radio. It was meant to be his grand return. But then, without a word, he vanished.

The radio show skipped ahead, leaving an empty slot in its timeline—a silent tribute to the episode that never was. Twenty episodes later, the airwaves cracked. A low, warped hum slithered through the static. Faint laughter echoed from nowhere and everywhere at once. Then, a voice—distorted, playful, familiar.

The Acid Tourist.

The words came through in jagged bursts, a transmission riddled with interference. The episode had never been lost, he explained. We had simply been listening on the wrong quantum timeline. While the rest of us moved forward, The Acid Tourist took a detour—a casual bike ride through a wormhole, a ripple in the acid stream, slipping through the cracks of reality itself. And in his travels, he discovered an alternate timeline where Episode 200 always existed.

This 6-hour plus show consists of two sets, recorded live: the first in January 2019 at the Wolfkop Weekender in Citrusdal, South Africa—an open-air sonic odyssey under the Southern Hemisphere’s starlit sky. The second, a morning session in August 2023 at KaterBlau’s Acid Bogen in Berlin, where the Spree whispered secrets to the sunrise.

Now, brought back to our dimension. Thought lost to the sands of time—here, finally, for your listening pleasure. ❤️

Imagine yourself being on the playa, looking for the Robot Heart bus, but can't find it anywhere, then you realize it is still in camp, trunk open, two technicians in the motor, the car won't start.. and it is our first time playing on the bus! Keeping positive while tension is increasing... here comes the sound... the engine works, total euphoria! We all jump in, and started riding on the beats of our dear friend Gab Rhome. When the bus stopped right in front of a two men statue before starting our set, we could not believe our eyes. It felt like playing in brotherhood in front of a mirror.  The crescent moon in between the two heads, our best friends behind us... the rest is history ✨💙
