Veteran Bristol-based producer Chris Jarman a.k.a. Kamikaze Space Programme joins the TRUST family with a blistering EP of hard-edged bass music. Hot on the heels of his 'Concrete Musique' EP for Luke Slater's Mote Evolver imprint, 'Stokes Croft' showcases the bassier side of Jarman's distinct production style.

'Stokes Croft' opens with none other than prolific Ninja Tune artist Emika as a guest, whose haunting vocals turn 'Choke' into an ear-catching hybrid of industrial bass electro and gothic pop. 'Clapper' follows this up with a percussive banger, perfectly encapsulating Jarman's artistic vision of crafting futuristic beats entirely from found and self-recorded sounds rather than worn and tired presets. It's a philosophy that does not rule out sublime melodic moments either, as 'Cel's drifting string and melancholic bleeps aptly demonstrate, while 'HSBC' closes the EP with a nod to the old-school, complementing jacking electro rhythms with squelchy acid lines and ghostly pads.

Released parallel to TRUST's three-part 15-year anniversary series, TRUST XV, Kamikaze Space Programme's 'Stokes Croft' represents the rougher side of the TRUST sound - head-strong, futuristic, and ready to obliterate stylistic stagnation with sonic innovation.

Delivering ten Detroit and Chicago-inspired house tracks of the finest calibre, Li's offset and grubby bruk drums are a constant nod to the dance floor, while his melodies lean towards an unparalleled industrial edged emotion.

The bold Berlin imprint @voxnoxRecords sees it’s twenty third release land soon and what a stunner it is. Eclectic and progressive, they have an uncanny habit for selecting stand out beats and not staying still.

The debut release from half Italian, half Spanish artist @Verschwender called Selection 001 contains four choice cuts of varying Techno tangents ranging from spacey warm up vibes to a peak time power house and successfully showing a somewhat gothic style throughout.

The original track we chose for this DT:Premiere is called “1301” with it’s instant energy, lit up by a creepy vocal hook that make this trippy warehouse track an absolute must buy.

Channel#9 collects five tracks of free flowing techno from Italy’s Ascion. A talent who has graced labels like 3TH and Repitch, this EP balances floor fervour with subtle warm washes and colder echoes. The lulling wonders of “Anhatolia” hark back to a time of dreamlike ambience, that calm turning frosty in the early morning light of “Illusorium.” Those arctic currents become knifelike in the jagged thump and bitter acid barbs of “Doubledpang” But the rasp never turns too venomous. “Fraxtile” and “Cybbar” are from a similarly murky place, reducing some of the throbbing pound to allow melting melodies to shift and swirl. Spirited and soulful with just a hint of serpentine.
