'The Music is my Life LP' tells the story of 14 years of dedication to drum and bass production. Dunk's debut LP is the result of many months of non-stop work, living and breathing the music - for the first time feeling he was able to deliver his musical vision in full.

Originating from São Paulo, Brazil, Dunk is one-half of the world-renowned Jam Thieves. He may be a new name to some, but he is no stranger to producing heavy drum and bass flows which push any sound system to its limit.

Working with complete artistic freedom in partnership with the label, Dunk was able to deliver on his dream of releasing a full-length drum and bass album, encapsulating his love for the music and the many varied styles it represents.

The entire album was mastered by the legendary Teebee at Black Science Labs. Dunk was delighted to receive a call from the man himself offering his full support and congratulating him on the strength of his production. A testament indeed to the Brazilian's talents.

We are proud to present this spectacular debut LP - 'The Music is my Life', landing in all online stores this October.

The next edition of the Dispatch Blueprints series comes from NC-17 and Kumarachi. Inspired by the original breakbeats / drum sampling production techniques, NC-17 continues the Blueprints ethos with two spectacular tracks that celebrate the old skool drum and bass flavours.

Whilst working on the latest edition of NC-17’s ongoing album series ‘Most Violent Year’ we received the two tracks that make up this release and all agreed that they would find the perfect home on the Blueprints imprint.

‘Cache’ is a drum heavy collaboration with Kumarachi that makes perfect use of rasping bass synths, razor-sharp drum edits and well-timed vocal samples, channelling the energy of a Blue Note era banger.

‘Rules of Hell’ is pure NC-17 magic – a dark, broody, cinematic journey through the depths of drum and bass grit. Tuned to make whole dancefloors shake, this one is a real monster. Watch out for that bassline.

Sequences returns to Dispatch Limited for this his first solo release on the label, the ‘Atlantis EP’ - 6 tracks of deep, rolling, tech funk with a twist. 

Title track ‘Atlantis’ sets the tone for the whole project, with dreamy atmospherics that drift into growling bass. The clever juxtaposition of this dramatic contrast hits just right.					

With Sequences’ first outing for Dispatch being a collaboration on Brain’s ‘Oscilloscope EP’ in 2019, it is only fitting that Brain joins him to collaborate for ‘Gargle’. The epic introduction packed with suspense from eerie pads and rasping synths soon descends into paranoid metal funk. 

Over four more solo productions Sequences completes the EP with the syncopated ‘Only Me’, the rolling dynamic basslines of ‘Botulism’ and ‘Champagne Bubbly’, before again perfectly balancing the light and dark of ‘Dredge’.

Alphaze has finally lost the plot — and we’re all better off for it! The Ravin’ Mad EP on Serial Killaz Recordings is six slabs of jump up filth, jungle chaos and rave mayhem, stitched together for maximum dancefloor carnage.

Rooted in the rowdy grit of jump up, yet laced with the feverish energy of jungle and the euphoric chaos of early rave culture, this EP is pure peak-time ammunition. Alphaze blends snarling basslines with frantic breaks, rave-stab frenzy and enough low-end pressure to make the foundations quiver. The result? Dancefloors left grinning and gurning, with ravers caught somewhere between the past, the present, and the next reload.

Warning: side effects may include bass face, reckless skanking and the need to call in sick to work on Monday morning.

Ant TC1 along with Hidden Agenda founded Dispatch Recordings back in 2001, Ant originally helped out with the management side of the label before finding his feet within the realms of production; which was a natural progression for him having DJ’d on pirate radio and in clubs from the age of 14 (since 1992).  His first release alongside frequent production partner Stress Level appeared on Dispatch after almost 3 years of hard work getting their collective sound where they felt it needed to be before even thinking about turning on a DAT recorder.  After their first release hit the stores they quickly picked up a wealth of DJ support across their early material and went on to release for a who’s who list of established Drum & Bass record labels including the likes of Renegade, CIA, Advanced, Critical Records Integral, Liquid V, Commercial Suicide, Good Looking Records, Bingo Beats and Samurai Music.

By demand remix work started to feature heavily within their output and the duo went on to remix for the likes of Hidden Agenda, Chris SU, Artificial Intelligence, Kabuki, Total Science, Optical & Ryme Time (Jagged Edge), Atlantic Connection, Tactile & DJ Marky.  Branching out and working with other producers such as Survival, DLR & Philth has only furthered experience Ant’s skills at the controls over the years, Ant has also released his own solo material more recently on top of remixing for the likes of Lomax on Integral Records.  In 2014 Ant realised a lifetime ambition, securing his first ever release for the legendary Metalheadz label “Hungry For Atmosphere” alongside Mako, DLR & Villem with further releases for the label and counting going into 2024.

Ant’s production output has featured on a mass of compilations and mix CD’s compiled by the likes of Shy FX, LTJ Bukem, Total Science, AI, Spectrasoul, Klute and Brian G.  Additionally his work has featured very heavily within the radio shows of Friction, Grooverider, Fabio, Goldie, Bailey & Rene LaVice on their respective BBC Radio 1 slots over the years as well as BBC 1Xtra where Ant once hosted his own one-off 4 hour show, he has since additionally made 2 guest DJ appearances for DJ Friction on his Radio 1 show.  His DJ’ing work has seen him play all over the globe from Adelaide to Los Angeles, from Hong Kong to Sarajevo, Vancouver to Bangkok and last but by no means least regularly UK and EU wide. Additionally for the most part of the decade beyond 2010 Ant also worked as the Artist Manager for both Outlook and Dimensions Festival in Croatia, leading up the booking process, budgets and travel aspects for the festival.

Fast forward through to 2024; Ant is now responsible for the lead label management roles of both Metalheadz & Dispatch Recordings and is based in Thailand, with a purpose built studio room recently finished the plan (alongside managing a mass of planned record label releases) is to get back to focusing on writing music more consistently than he ever has previously.
