12 Million years ago, gargantuan monsters the size of sky scrapers, towered above even the tallest of trees. These where known as Kaiju. Every step they took, crushed all life before it. A giant lizard known as Kaijulla was once  the most powerful destructive force nature had to offer. His sheer ability for pure chaos just by moving literally changed the landscape for all eternity. Every step created lakes, that turned into rivers, then streams.  Every brush of his tail would ignite even the most damppest of ferns and trees, even during a heavy monsoon. Kajiulla was passive though. He never fought against the entity of nature, and he was always called to finish the fight. When his need was most dire, his tail would begin to crackle and would illuminate with cerulean electricity, and thus the jagged spines, all up his back, and a breath taking nuclear blast beam of pure blue energy with a blinding white center, Think the entire two part bombing of utter devastation of human civilization, condensed into a single focused point. This would melt the heads off of other Kaiju. 
Now imagine that at his peak, he could destroy San Francisco, and Tokyo to just the earth beneath them, just by existing  to close to them.

Now also consider, Kaijulla 
was also once an egg, and before that, just some sperm.

But you see, Dragons birth eggs.

Long ago, before the age of man, and the age of dinosaurs, there was just chaos. Complete darkness and a burning fire at its center.
The progenitor of all things, absent of light, burning with a phantom black flame encased in a dull gold eclipse, darker then the void became formed.
 Earth was made. And within it, buried within the bowls of Mount Tombora, Anvil claimed his throne.
He sleeps for thousands of years at a time. Always, he leaves his horn  protruding from within like how crocodiles and alligators breathe in winter. 
a 12 feet by 8 feet Anvil of pure brimstone, always burning with hellfire was all that would protrude. 

Only the most vile of souls, would ever think to forge weapons. So Anvil would sleep



....... until a Bard Knight, decided to make humanity suffer and become one again.
